Ramshard is cheap, however has its drawbacks. The support was fast, however I am not happy about its use of "UNLIMITED" on its page. The term is vague and hard to decipher and its used to express storage amounts. Additionally my server properties file kept getting reset, so spawn protection and other certain values had to continuously be replaced. Although RamShard is a easy to use hosting site and provided a good foundation for my servers.

Hi yumc, Thanks for taking the time to write a review and share your feedback. First and foremost, I am happy to hear about your pleasant experience with our support and that our platform was easy to use. We strive to offer a server hosting experience that meets the expectation of every server owner. I'm sorry to hear our unlimited storage policy did not fit your needs. Server storage is unlimited within our fair usage guidelines. This policy is in place to protect our other customers, as this is a shared hosting environment. For the majority of our customers, storage is never an issue since we set the thresholds very high. The only thing that would exceed these high thresholds would be excessive storage usage from plugins or worlds, which is usually due to incorrect settings or them not being properly optimized. In this case, we would be happy to diagnose the cause of a world or plugin using an excessive amount of storage and work with you to find a satisfactory resolution. Additionally, I'm sorry to hear about the issue you are facing with values resetting in the server properties file. We would like to look into this further for you to find out why it is occurring. Please reach out to us at your earliest convenience at [email protected] so we can dig into this further.

Honestly, RAMShard offers a GREAT Service. I had a server with them for the last three months. In these three months I had several problems, or things I couldn't figure out myself. The Support (Talking about Kevin, great guy!) was always there to help me. I also have never experienced any lag on my server, I even played a SkyBlock 4 server with 5 people at the time. And all of it on 2GB RAM. That's what I call great performance. Would definitely recommend.

The support is really great and helpful! The only couple of things that weren't the complete best (No offense) was I feel like there could maybe be a more useful and friendly User Interface to change things about the server like MOTD and the Server Icon though you still have to do it from FTP which is fine with me, maybe also add options like always day, clear weather, and some gamerule toggles, otherwise the service is really great! It stays up 24/7 and isn't bad, the support is also really nice, they are off a little bit (As you may see Support Is Away) though I completely understand since we're in Covid-19 right now, also when I needed help with something (For example changing the server icon) they had me realize I named the file wrong with an _ instead of a - which I would have never seen, thanks a lot!a

It is not always necessary to go to the giant providers! In this case I switched to RAMShard for a Minecraft server. In contrast to many large providers (by experience), Ramshard has fair prices and high-performance servers. Another point is that the interface runs very smoothly and I have had no problems with it so far. The downtime rate is very low, it only happened to me once that the server was really offline. The only problem with the support is that many users may experience problems if they live in a different time zone, as the support is only available at certain times and there is no 24/7 support. Nevertheless, there is a live chat support, which is also fast. So far all staff have been very friendly and helpful. So I would very much like to have 24/7 support. It would also be good if you could add users to the interface without having to contact support and that you can run multiple databases on one server. Otherwise, very good and in any case recommendable :)

The prices are very reasonable, and all fine print is very open and the customer service is great. The only reason I haven’t given it 5 stars is because customer service sometimes takes several hours to reply, but to be fair, sometimes they only take no more than 5 minutes. I’m not going to complain much, because in general, I’d highly recommend them.
