Rainier Overseas MoversReviews of rainieros.com

Five stars — wouldn't use anyone else I have used Rainier Overseas Movers twice over the past 12 years for moving and shipping from the US to the UK, and on both occasions the service and communication were absolutely unbeatable. International moves can be stressful and overwhelming, but Chuck and the team at Rainier make the whole process so much easier. Chuck in particular was always available to answer questions, nothing was ever too much trouble. If you're facing an overseas move and want a company you can truly trust, look no further. Thank you so much!

I recently used Rainier International Movers for my relocation from Albany, New York to Aix-en-Provence, France for a position with ITER, and I was very pleased with the experience. Doug was outstanding throughout the process, maintaining excellent communication and working with me to find a solution that fit my budget. The local moving crews on both the U.S. and France sides were professional, courteous, and accommodating to all of my needs. Most importantly, everything arrived safely, on time, and without any damage. Moving internationally can be stressful, but Rainier made the process smooth and straightforward. I would gladly recommend them to anyone planning an international move.

Don Arroyo of Rainier Overseas Moving has been, quite frankly, unbelievable. I have dragged this process out literally for years, with countless message back and forth, delays, rescheduling, all my fault, and all along he has been patient, good-natured, and supportive. There is no chance I would ever look to another source for long-distance moving services. For real. For me, sending a precious piece of hand-made furniture from New Hampshire to France has been a daunting process and Don took me through it and made it painless and comfortable. Thanks Don. You rock.

Everything occurred exactly as promised. Our contact person was David Wiviott out of the Seattle office, and he was very helpful and responsive. I was particularly impressed with how smoothly their process went, from doing the video inventory, to the packing, and shipping. We were transporting some fragile items, and some irreplaceable art. It will be some time before we unpack it all, but everything we have unpacked (which includes all the furniture and many art items) arrived intact, and we have been impressed with how carefully they repacked it. They coordinated our delivery to Panama with a trucking company out of Panama City, and that end of things worked smoothly as well. This operation was handled very professionally and we are extremely satisfied with how it all went.

We recently used Rainier Overseas Movers for our international move, and although our belongings are still in transit, we felt compelled to share what has already been a truly wonderful experience. From the very beginning, Chuck Crosslin has been absolutely fantastic. He is incredibly kind, patient, and consistently helpful. Moving internationally can feel overwhelming, but Chuck guided us through every step of the process with clarity and professionalism, making everything feel smooth and manageable. He was always quick to respond to our questions, no matter how many we had, and took the time to ensure we felt comfortable and informed throughout. His support and attention to detail made a potentially stressful situation feel far more seamless than we ever expected. Based on our experience so far, we would not hesitate to recommend Rainier Overseas Movers to anyone planning an international move. We are truly grateful for all of Chuck’s help and look forward to receiving our shipment.

I recently worked with Rainier Overseas Movers for an international move from the U.S. to China, and I’m very grateful for how smoothly everything came together. From the beginning, Doug and the team were responsive, helpful, and easy to work with, which made a complicated process feel much more manageable. The shipment arrived on time and in good condition, and the coordination between the U.S. and China teams was seamless. It was clear throughout that there was strong communication behind the scenes, which gave me a lot of confidence during the move. International relocations can be stressful, but this experience was handled professionally and with care. I really appreciate the support along the way and would happily recommend Rainier to others planning a similar move.

If you're planning an international move, stop searching and call Don Arroyo at Rainier Overseas. My wife and I just completed a relocation from New York to Athens, Greece, and the experience was as smooth as an international move can possibly be — largely because of Don. What sets him apart isn't just competence, it's integrity. A few days before our container was loaded, Don discovered that our originally assigned local origin agent was potentially facing bankruptcy. Rather than stay quiet and hope for the best, he immediately flagged it, switched us to a better local company, and absorbed the price difference himself to keep our original quote intact. That kind of proactive honesty is rare in any industry, let alone moving. Throughout the entire process Don was responsive, transparent, and genuinely invested in getting us to the finish line. He answered every question without hesitation and made sure the handoff to our destination agent in Greece was seamless. We're now settled in Athens and have zero regrets about who we trusted with this move. Highly recommend without reservation.

We used Rainier Overseas Movers for our move from Washington, DC to London. Both in DC and then again in London, we found the whole process well-organized and efficient. All of our stuff--furniture, kitchen wear, clothes--came unharmed and in easily identifiable boxes. Rainier packed and unpacked all the boxes, making packing very easy. Communication was constant and questions answered. The whole process, from departure to arrival took just over 6 weeks. I cannot recommend Rainier highly enough.
