Dear Mary, Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback regarding your Apalachicola Chandelier! We are so glad to hear that you love the attractive design of the fixture and that it is now dimming beautifully in your home! We would love to clarify how our packaging and bulb policy works: we do not officially include permanent operational light bulbs with the fixture. However, before shipping, our workshop team always includes a warm-light (non-dimmable) test bulb in the box. This way, once the fixture arrives, you can immediately install the test bulb to verify that the light and internal wiring are working properly after transit! Because this test bulb is non-dimmable, it will naturally strobe if used on a dimmer switch. If you need a dimmable setup, you can simply purchase and install dimmable E12 bulbs yourself—just as you successfully did to solve the issue! We also sincerely apologize for the shipping duration and truly appreciate your patience while waiting for your order to arrive.
