Engagement Ring Review
I ended up getting my ring from Raad jewelers after being entirely overwhelmed by looking at online vendors (bc let’s be honest, in store is just wildly over priced) I met with Peter on zoom, which made a HUGE difference to me. Previous jewelers I spoke with only contacted me via email, IG, or random photos. Personally, I liked the meeting on zoom because it made the experience feel more special and unique to me almost like shopping in a store. I also liked that he scrolled through inventory with me and explained what I was looking at. It was really nice to look WITH someone vs the somewhat cold emails I was getting with different options and a plain 360 video.. I had no idea what I was looking at or why one was better than another outside of carat size so that was frustrating and one of the huge differences I experienced with Raad I’m an absolute newbie to this, didn’t understand graining, didn’t understand clarity fully or what constituted light return, and had no clue what to anticipate in terms of size. Peter actually sent me a ring sizer and then watched me on video trying on different sizes and explained the importance of it not being so loose that it just slipped off. THAT was huge for me bc I thought I was a 6 and ended up being a 4.5. He also was super responsive, returned my texts constantly, called me to explain different metals and why white gold was a good choice for someone with allergies, and sent me updated videos in different light settings. Even receiving the ring felt special because it came in a really lovely box and a beautiful ring box. I ended up beyond happy with a 2.35 carat, E color, VS1, and white gold band. Couldn’t be happier and would genuinely suggest going with Raad.
