I have bought a diamond from Raad Jewelers and have had (subsequent to that purchase) two rings made by this company. Here is my experience. The communication was perfection, the rings I had made are perfection, and the correspondence while having my two custom rings made were perfection. I would strongly recommend this jeweler to anybody who would love the same experience I had with them. Further, I live in Wisconsin and they are located in Michigan. I make this point only because it can be uncomfortable with the distance and transportation, etc. They responded to every email in a timely fashion, and delivered on every promise made. I cannot wait for more jewelry to be made! thank you to Raad Jewelers, I now have a trusted jeweler!

I had such a great experience with Raad Jewelers, especially working with Adam. He was so helpful, responsive, and patient. I really appreciated how he kept me updated throughout the whole process, from choosing the diamond, the design and the rendering to the finished craft and shipping. It made me feel completely comfortable and confident in my purchase. The quality is beautiful, and the price was honestly better than what I saw elsewhere. I had an excellent experience with Raad Jewelers, who crafted the perfect engagement ring and made the process so easy for me! Here's my full experience with them and their product: When I was shopping for my then girlfriend (happily now fiancee, phew!), their Round Tulip Basket Solitaire Setting in platinum stood out to me and was easily the best version of this style I encountered from my online search, exactly what I was looking to get her. So many other versions I've seen had 6 prongs and/or a cathedral, but we just liked the simpler look of 4 prongs without a cathedral, and it was a higher-set crown sitting on top of the band. That to me was more visually stunning, showing more of the light performance in a high floating solitaire look while also allowing a band to sit flush with it. Perfect! The only thing I hesitated on at the time was I had never heard of them before, but I was still excited that a jeweler had this as an existing setting and that I wouldn't have to go full bespoke. Another plus that stood out to me was that all their work is custom made-to-order and hand cast in Michigan, a sentimental bonus for me because I attended the University of Michigan, and my fiancee knows I bleed Maize and Blue haha. I would be excited to tell her this fun fact one day. When I saw all the positive reviews on Trustpilot and Reddit, I started to feel good about them and decided to make an appointment for a virtual consultation to inquire about this setting and another similar one I was considering. Adam helped me through the process and addressed all my questions and concerns on the styles. For anyone who might be wrestling with the same concerns I had regarding security: Adam assured me that a well-made 4-prong setting is secure enough for 2 ct round stone (especially in platinum), and that choosing engineering over visuals for the extra security alone in this case will not be worth it if we ultimately don't like how it looks. I could tell he wasn't just trying to make a sale because he could have pointed me to a cathedral version or many other 6-prong styles they have at higher prices, but he didn't upsell me on anything. I made the purchase on the setting I had in mind that same day, and I felt it was a better deal than I could have gotten anywhere for the quality I got. (It turns out they can do this because they are online only with no storefront, so they have much lower operating expenses than other retailers.) They updated me throughout the process, with CAD renderings of the ring and videos of the diamond in hand and then the finished product. They sourced and received the diamond within about a week since purchase, and then the finished ring was delivered to me in another 3 weeks in a cool box and case with the grading report. They did thorough QC on this before shipping it out to me, and you can tell in the finished product. They were also very responsive to my inquiries, sometimes responding within just a few minutes. Now about the finished product: Both my fiancee and I absolutely love it, and she keeps telling everyone "how good I did." :D The stone is gorgeous in all kinds of lighting, and we are able to see the perfectly shaped arrows from the top. (We can't see the hearts from the pavilion side because the stone is mounted of course, but based on everything else we've seen, we will believe they are there.) When I first received the ring before the proposal, I took it to an independent appraiser in case I wanted to insure it, and the appraiser confirmed not only the elite specs of the stone that were within the strictest of "super ideal" parameters, but also that the craftsmanship on the setting was stellar. I'd like to give extra props to the master bench jeweler who aligned the prongs perfectly and symmetrically without covering the grading report inscription or the beautiful arrowheads, an extra detail he said others often miss when mounting the stone. The quality truly looks and feels like something of an heirloom at a much better value than any other brand out there. If we didn't know the brand, we would think it would have come from one of the big luxury brands. This is really a special shop. I would recommend their customer service, quality craftsmanship, and value to anyone looking to purchase an engagement ring for their special someone.
