This product has potential

This product has potential, but I've used Quotewerks for at least 5 - 6 years and the one problem I experience the most is an outdated form editor. It's wonderful that the company feels a need to often tout many updates to the software and over the years not one update has been anything I use. I need a decent form editor so I don't have to regularly spend hours adjusting my forms. When I first started with Quotewerks I paid for a template to match my companies quote form and since I have had to adjust the form for almost every quote. The fields for some reason change position and require tweaking regularly. There is no way to zoom in on the form and select the proper field as they are jumbled together and what is visible in the editor is not what it looks like when looking at the actual form. I don't need the Amazon bundled features. I do general quoting, P.O.'s and invoicing. Fix the horrible editor!

Ron, Thank you for utilizing QuoteWerks in your business. The layout designer is a flexible tool. It is not a graphic design tool like Abobe Photoshop or InDesign which enables all of our customers with little training to customize and edit their layouts (https://www.quotewerks.com/layouts.asp). For those that prefer Microsoft Word (https://www.quotewerks.com/WordMerging.asp), QuoteWerks has the ability to create quotes and proposals by merging a Word Document. In the editor, there are options to align a field with another field based on top, Bottom, Left, and Right Edge and also on a Center line (both Horizontal and Vertical) - https://www.quotewerks.com/helpfile/qwhelp.htm?layoutdesignermenucommands.htm. The other issue that novice layout designers run into is when a field is configured to grow / allow for multiple lines. When this is set and the value of the field has multiple lines, it will push the fields down that are below it. In these cases, it is important that the fields are aligned correctly.
