First time using this lab system my new doctor sent me to. Nice folks at the lab, though surprised they asked for a pre-pay as I have great insurance and usually don't pay for routine lab work during annual exam. I have always received online lab results same day, or the next day at previous doctor/clinic, but now on day five still waiting on them. Routine labs should be much quicker. I got my COVID result in 2 days at another lab, and previous bloodwork six months ago that evening. I am going to ask my doctor to process my labs elsewhere in the future, and if not possible, I will consider another doctor or clinic that doesn't use Quest.

Went in to get get bloodwork first…
Went in to get get bloodwork first thing this morning at 6:00am. There were only three of us in the waiting room. Soon as I walked in to sit down, I noticed that the one lab tech was yelling at every one of us, stating that we should have had an appointment because Corporate recently changed the policy on walk in appointments. There were no signs in the waiting room or posted anywhere, to let patients know this new policy. Furthermore, what frustrated me the most was how this only lab tech treated us. One gentleman, most likely in his 80’s, didn’t understand how to check in on the kiosks, so she yelled at him and demeaned him in front of the rest of us. The gentleman after him tried to check in at the kiosk, but it wasn’t working. He informed the lab tech, but she dismissed him and told him to use another kiosk, while telling me to check in on the kiosk that wasn’t working, completely ignoring the gentleman’s observation that the kiosk wasn’t working. I attempted to use the kiosk, but it was down. I informed this same lab tech that it was down. She huffed and angrily came over, only to find it wasn’t working. She didn’t apologize to me or the gentlemen before me. When she called us to the front desk, she berated us for not having an appointment, and for not bringing in a hard copy of our request from our Dr’s to get lab work, even though our requests were in the system when we showed her our ID cards. The elderly gentleman was able to get his labs after she berated him continuously for not being able to hear nor understand what she was trying to tell him. The gentleman after him walked away from the counter, shaking his head after she berated him for not having and appointment or paperwork on hand. She then calls me up to the computer, and proceeds to berate me when I told her I didn’t have an appointment or my paperwork. I stopped her and pointed out that her extreme rude behavior was unacceptable and unprofessional and that I was going to report her. No one should be treated like garbage from any healthcare professional. What disgusted me the most was how she treated the elderly gentleman. She apologized to me profusely and administrated my labs—but the point being Quest should post their new policy on their websites and in their waiting rooms. Treat patients with some respect. Avoid going to Quest by all means if you can. Horrible service. I would have walked out and made an appointment had I been treated as a human being. Some folks do not belong in the health care profession at all. Please avoid Quest Diagnostics at all costs.

Questionable Employee
If you happen to come across a lab tech with the last name of B Oneill in the PNW area. Do yourself a favor and head out of that office. He kept ogling my daughter and just gave her the creepy vibe the whole time. Asked around and found out this guy done some questionable things and was fired from his previous job do to what happened. He subs around the whole PNW. I believe his home base is at sunrise clinic in Puyallup.
Quest do yourself a favor and screen your employees better. I see a future sexual harassment case. From now on I am having my family blood work done at another company.

Worst service for blooddrawl ever
Worst service for blooddrawl ever. Made an appointment for 12:30, was there at 12:22... they couldn’t find my appointment. It was made via the website and then tried again by phone after it was told they lost the first appointment. Every time added 30 minutes wait. Finally they took me as a walk-in but I waited an extra 45 minutes beyond the original wait. There was only one phlebotomy person in whole place and she was extremely slow. The whole process took me 3 hours. I cannot say how ridiculous this all was. To top it off I had knee surgery yesterday, now have no knee, had to travel 40 minutes because most quests have closed. Was in tremendous pain and they had no sympathy and never tried to help at all. Changing my insurance after this whole ordeal so I never have to use quest again.

Unhappy I.
Very Very Very rude, Not professional
Very Very Very rude. Had an appointment but was said I had to wait with my son because I was 10 minutes late 4 his appointment and they said I had a wait until everyone had to go. Rude rude rude is not the word. I mean bedside manner is not even a thing. Wonder why every review is one star. Do yourself a favor pick any other quest u can possibly get. It will be your best bet

Let me just emphasize how important it…
Let me just emphasize how important it is for a company to have real people that the customers/patients can talk to!! There's absolutely no one who can answer your questions. Spent hours on the phone listening to intercoms drone on and on endlessly. Why do I need to listen to all of that when my question can be answered by a representative (who knows what they're talking about) in a few minutes? It's ridiculous. The lady about to draw my blood sample also had no clue how a patient can even order a test online. If these people don't know, then who are we supposed to ask?

Wouldn’t let me wait on pregnant wife!
They wouldn’t let me wait in the lobby while my pregnant wife was getting her blood work done , I can understand not being able to go in the back but not even allowing me to sit in the lobby??? The lady had a horrible attitude about it as well and handled it very unprofessional.
