We visited for an afternoon tea to celebrate my mother’s birthday. It was amazing. Fernanda was our server and went above and beyond to make sure our visit was memorable. I would thoroughly recommend.

I had a great experience thanks to Emily, the bartender. She was very nice, friendly, and extremely helpful. She took the time to explain all the food options on the menu and told us about the specials they were serving. Her warm attitude and great service really made my visit very enjoyable.

I arranged my sister surprised 40th birthday party at the Queens hotel and from the start the communication was spot on with Davina. All my emails were answered promptly. We got to view the room and were given a choice of different menus to choose from. All the staff were so professional from the off set. On the day Amanda greeted my sister in the foyer and really played along with the whole ‘surprise’. My sister had no idea! The food on the day was spot on and we have lots of fussy people in our group. Never known food at function to come out hot and so tasty. I had the salmon which was amazing. We also stayed in the hotel and had a family room which was perfect for my husband, 3 boys and myself. The rooms are decorated with class and sophistication. I would highly recommend this hotel, not only for the food, location but the experienced and extremely knowledgeable and friendly staff.

Quick at responding to your queries before your stay, it was a great place to stay, staff were very friendly, and helpful also, my dog is scared of laminate flooring the boss kept moving the rug for him which I was thankful for, I would recommend staying here so close to everything the beach is beautiful my dog and daughter lives staying here, so close to the outdoor pool also everything is so close, it was like home away from home especially with my severe anxiety and disabilitys, my mobility isn't great some good days some bad days, very helpful staff happy to help nothing is a bother to them, I would stay here again with my daughter and my dog, he loved it here, just waiting for my refund now due to having to change dates due to my brain injury, forgetting days times who I am where I am going, everything is close to hand, thank you for having us, all the best

We chose to stay at the The Queens Hotel to celebrate our Ruby wedding anniversary. The Hotel has its own ample parking for residents which was one reason that we chose it. The huge stairs at the entrance was a bit tricky to negotiate with our luggage. Once inside we were immediately impressed by the stunning decor in the hallway and in the dining rooms. This hotel looks the business. Our room was very clean as one might expect and we had a great view of Southsea Common with its war memorials, a hovercraft and numerous ferries going to and from the Isle of Wight and France. We could also see Clarence Pier. The Spinnaker Tower that is next to the entrance to the Historic Dockyard was visible from our window. The Spinnaker Tower looks close by but this turned out to be deceptive. It was actually 2.5 miles away by foot so we had to use the car and park in the Historic Dockyard’s car park. The food at the hotel was amazing. Very tasty and presented so well it looked too good to eat. One of us has numerous food intolerances. The hotel’s restaurant was able to accommodate this to a great extent. Our only criticism would be that the menu one got depended on what type of booking one had made with the hotel and we were frequently given the wrong menu. What was on the menu was also the same every day but that wasn’t a problem for us. On the whole we felt we were being looked after rather well. We would definitely like to stay at The Queens Hotel again and would recommend this hotel to others.
