An Unbelievable Week
This trip was something I had wanted to do for 20 years ever since I studied Darwin in school. We did the southern route because we were concerned about seasickness and thought this route had less sailing than the northern route. There were two nights that we had some motion in the boat at night while sailing but they worked out ok and the other nights were no issue. The guides, Roberto and Hernon, were excellent. They were friendly, knowledgable and fun. All the excursions were well planned and very interesting. The stargazing at night was also spectacular. The only drawback to our trip was that several people got upset stomachs. However, the cruise director, Ariana, was most helpful to those of us who got sick. There was enough activity that most of us were happy to go to our cabins after dinner and read a book or go to sleep. It was a week that I will never forget and hope to repeat.
