Great product highly recommend. 2 lie detectors every time you clip in. Firmware upgrades have been a breeze with my power meter.

Power meter stopped working and required replacement part after only 3 months of use. Replacement part was ordered under warranty but took over 5 wks to arrive. Time trials had been entered and I was unable to use the time trial bike in 3 events as the bike was without power meter/chainset. I was told the part required was not held in stock and had to be ordered from abroad. The length of time I had to wait seemed totally unexceptable, considering the cost of the power meter plus the amount of time I had used it.

Quarg power-meters are well-engineered quality products with excellent product support, but not so with their marketing. I would have preferred to provide a five-star rating but I was very disappointed that the company would not continue its trade-in upgrade program which its competitors are doing. This attitude provides little incentive to making any further upgrades to new Quarg units.

I have the last generation Quarq power meter spider (not DZero) for Specialized cranks. Overall, I've been really happy with my Quarq. It's easy to maintain and changing the battery is snap. I can't speak to installation. I had my LBS handle that step. The only downside I've experienced is on occasion when my front derailleur overshifts the large chainring, the chain contacting the battery case causes the power meter to lose connectivity w/ my Garmin. To fix it, I stop take out the Quarq battery and put it back in. Not a big deal except when I've been in a race.
