Experience of using a SRAM RED eTAP groupset
I have used a SRAM RED eTAP groupset about 5 months. I cannot tell that everything is OK. + Wireless connection, no cables. - From the first installation all components were adjusted correctlly according manufacturer's user instruction. After 1000-1200 km riding the front derailleur was displaced outboard onto the braze-on mount in spite of the fixing bolt was tightened enough to keep the derailleur from sliding down. The metal frame of a front derailleur damaged internal surface of my right carbon crank. After that I several times regulated it's again with tightened force of a screw, but derailleur again was sliding down and scratched right crank again. The rear derailleur firstly was working good too. Microajastment allows to set up his work correctly. But some times later switching of the gears were not work correctly. All gears worked good beside 4th gear, after next microajastment only 4th gear worked correctly and another gears – not. I cann't to do anything to adjust swithing of a rear derailleuer correctly. Additional, battaries capacity are finishing after 5-6 ridings with an average distance of 100 km.
