Check the pressure port
Check the pressure port. Mine was not in and had plug painted over. Blew oil everywhere. But otherwise great experience!

Paul, I'm sorry about this. The pressure port plug on your unit was not tightened all the way, and our guys missed it before it left the shop. That one is on us, and we're working out how to keep it from slipping through again. Thank you for telling us straight and for being this fair about it. One thing worth knowing, for you and for anyone reading: don't run that plug in until it stops. It's a tapered 1/8-27 pipe thread in the bell housing, the GM spec is 11 N·m (97 lb in), and going past that can crack the housing.

I had a great experience with quantum…
I had a great experience with quantum gear very good at communication and delivery. Delivery took about a week had it in my truck in a couple days and shipped my old one back out a couple days later the whole process was easy. Still in my drive cycle period but can tell it’s definitely better than my old one and slowly getting better each time I drive. Very helpful to have them be able to program it before hand not everyone will do that. If you need a transmission this is the place to go! 6l80 transmission!
