DISGUSTING PATHETIC example of NON-customer service. They clearly don't give a SHIT about their members or providers!! And, there is NO accountability!!

Quantum Health Makes Healthcare Harder
My experience with Quantum Health has been extremely frustrating. Before my employer started using Quantum Health, we had Aetna and never had these kinds of problems with our claims.
Since Quantum Health was brought in, it seems like claims are constantly being denied. What makes it even more frustrating is that you can't simply contact Meritain Health directly you are required to go through Quantum Health. Quantum Health acts as the gatekeeper for everything, and it feels like there is no real way to negotiate or get a straightforward resolution when a claim is denied.
When an employer uses Quantum Health, especially with an employer-funded health plan, it makes you wonder whether the system is designed to reduce what the plan pays out rather than make healthcare easier for employees.
Healthcare and insurance are already complicated enough. Employees shouldn't have to fight through layers of administrators just to get legitimate claims paid.
This has been a very disappointing experience, especially compared with how smoothly things worked for us before Quantum Health was involved.

Hi Elena,
We appreciate you sharing your feedback and are sorry to hear your experience did not meet expectations. As you may know, Quantum Health is a healthcare navigation company; we are not an insurer and do not determine the rules of coverage or benefits. Our role is to help members understand their benefits, navigate the claims process and pursue resolution when issues arise.
We’d value the opportunity to learn more about your particular situation and see how we can help. Please reach out to us at [email protected] and we will escalate your concerns to our Member Services leadership team for review and follow up.
Thank you,

Quantum Health is an atrocious health…
Quantum Health is an atrocious health insurance company to be an active member of.
Backstory: I just recently became a member through my spouse who is the primary policyholder through his employer. Since the start of my enrollment in May 2026, it has been horrible. I've never had a health insurance provider that doesn't cover your diabetic medications that you have to take in order to maintain your health and longevity. I have been taking the GLP-1 (Mounjaro) which has made great improvements for since being diagnosed of type-2 diabetes 2 1/2 years ago. However, quantum health will fight tooth and nail not to cover other diabetic medications. Since taking Mounjaro, my A1C has improved quite well, but I continuously experience hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) that makes my glucose levels drop dangerously low, therefore I use continuous glucose monitoring sensors to keep an eye out when my blood sugar drops. When my PCP sent in a Rx order to have my glucose sensors filled at my local pharmacy, quantum health denied the claim. When finding out as to why the Rx claim for the sensors was denied, I was advised I had to meet the criteria of using a daily insulin with a specific ingredient to have the sensors covered OR if I experience hypoglycemia why using a diabetic medication. The most pathetic thing about quantum health is that this requirement criteria is for ALL diabetics 1, 2, & 3, and their are no exceptions even with unique circumstances. The issue is that not all diabetic conditions and treatments are all the same with the similar outcome for 1, 2, & 3 diabetic patients, also quantum health denied the appeal request my PCP had sent them. What was even more sinister is that quantum health had the nerve to tell my PCP during the 2nd appeal process that since my A1C is currently under control, my doctor can take me off the medication as if I'm cured of diabetes (WTH) when the truth is quantum health doesn't want to continue covering the Mounjaro which the average retail price for a 60-day supply of (non-insured) is $3,996, so quantum health will do what they can not to cover a service and or medication that was deemed medically necessary for the patient, no matter if you have medical documents that supports your chronic condition. I've already sent my complaint to the Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) and is currently seeking legal action against this sham of a health issuance company. If you're currently in the process of looking for health insurance or it's provided by your employer, take my advice and STAY FAR AWAY FROM QUANTUM HEALTH.

Sheena was amazing to work with
Sheena was amazing to work with. After months of struggling with unresolved billing issues and being told to contact providers' billing offices on my own, she quickly identified the true cause of the problem: an incorrect billing code.
Because of these billing issues, I had to postpone my treatment, which was both stressful and frustrating. Sheena took ownership of the situation, contacted the providers' billing offices directly, and helped move the resolution process forward.
Her expertise, persistence, and dedication made a huge difference. I truly appreciate her support and would like to thank her for going above and beyond to help me.

Website never works
Website never works. By far the worst service I have ever had in 30 years of working. Website has been down for months. Ridiculous in this day and age to have to call just to get a list of doctors to see.

These are the jobs AI are coming for and after speaking with Daniel today I get it.
Way too many companies are completely ok with handing off administrative tasks to companies like this one. Where there is absolutely no wringable neck. Today I used the company's website only to be met with multiple technical difficulties with the filters. Then once I got everything set up it still decided that I want doctors in a 250-mile radius. Ok fixed that again, took screen shots of the five different doctors’ offices, only to be met with "never heard of them" on call one. Call 2 "was accepting new patients but only with a referral", mind you cannot have both there. Call three was met with an automated voice mail that computer regurgitated the phone #, not a greeting that states you have reached the office of, and hours are and we are busy or off today and to leave a message. Call four was met with dialing the # and it just hanging up immediately did not matter what time it was. (hint it is an invalid #) Call 5 and final call from the Quantum health list of providers accepting new patients for my specific insurance was a perpetual busy signal. It did not matter what time of day either. You also cannot click the phone icon in their app to dial direct that does not work. Then when I called Quantum Health for my "concierge" experience I was met with automated hell, after a few minutes of this, I was put on the phone with a Quantum Health representative at 11:41am central 8/10/26 only to be met with no listening skills, genuine disinterest and utter annoyance that I a customer was on his phone. To be asked the same question several times even though I had already advised I used the representative that the company provided link that came to me in the mail for quantum health with a qr code for my specific benefits was providing garbage information. I get there are dumb people out there but stop triaging all calls in the same manner of assumption of dumb/stupid first and listen. Then if you assess idiocy after asking questions then you can assume away. You know you took a contract working with the public right?

Professional service
I went to Quantum Health Service for a blood test, and Dr. Haq and the staff were amazing. They thoroughly explained everything I needed to feel better and pointed me in the right direction. I felt genuinely cared for throughout the visit. I would definitely recommend them.
