The owners, Tim Masters and his wife, Cindy, live with their five children less than a mile from the shop in La Grange Highlands, IL and are heavily invested in the community. Tim purchased the company from his mentor, Mr. Brixie, in 1995. Over the last 20+ years, Tim has grown and expanded the company to offer the latest innovations in mattresses, including memory foam, all natural latex and pocketed coil sleep systems. Our mattresses are handcrafted at our factory in La Grange Highlands, IL. Most of our knowledgeable salespeople are the same people who handcraft the mattresses. With their knowledge of the quality construction and durability of our products, they can easily guide you to choose the mattress that best fits your needs. Because we handcraft our mattresses on-site, there is no middle man, which means no high markups on our products. Our customers enjoy factory-direct prices. Emily Plush A++ mattress
I initially ordered their prototype mattress. It was a little too soft for me. I worked with Kathy; she was awesome. She was very helpful and understanding regarding my concern. We exchanged the prototype for the Emily Plush mattress. What a difference! I love the mattress; a great combination of firmness and comfort. I have not purchased a mattress in 12 years. I am glad I learned about the Quality Sleep Shop.

Our mattress is less than 18mos
Our mattress is less than 18mos. The owner was very nice and informative. Our regrets are that we picked out a mattress that was way too firm, so then we purchased a top cushion from them. Unfortunately, it bunches up and is very uncomfortable. Also, another regret we have is that the mattress we purchased has to be rotated and/or flipped 4 times a year. As senior citizens...I'm not sure what the heck we were thinking.

Hi, John. I'm sorry to hear that you're not in love with your mattress. We do often recommend a topper to soften a firm mattress, but if you're having issues with the topper itself and it's doing more harm than good - give us a call! In most cases we can adjust your mattress itself to provide more comfort. With regard to flipping or rotating your mattress, that unfortunately is an industry standard. We personally feel as though rotating (as opposed to flipping) your mattress suffices in changing up the compression enough to extend its life. If you're having trouble doing so, we can also add handles to your mattress upon request. Give us a call so that we can make sure you sleep soundly in the future!

I was a bit surprised that the mattress …
I was a bit surprised that the mattress was not as soft & comfy as the one in the store. My guess is that's because it's was brand new. Understandable, but I was so looking forward to the comfy 'hug' the store mattress had. One reason I bought the mattress was that it could be turned over. It is a good substantial, heavy but 'floppy' mattress. Unfortunately there are no handles to grab and I have to ask my son for help.
