Pushbullet Always Sucked from Day 1
Pushbullet has always sucked from day one. The way they handle media is, they lock it up in their ecosystem complete with no ability to share the media. Try downloading an image to your phone that you've sent using the web browser extension - doesn't work. The photo really isn't there. It's like a ghost file that's only shown on the display but, try sharing it, there's no ability to share the file when clicking the share icon. This is because the file really isn't there on the device. The user then attempts to download the file to which, nothing happens despite Pushbullet claiming it is downloading the file. Nothing happens. The file is not in the gallery and nowhere to be found in any gallery or in any download folder. It's just another wonky and rather clunky software package that's lame. The attachment icon, (paperclip) is another area of failure. Click the paperclip, select photo or any file, it closes the program window but fails to upload the attachment. This is because Pushbullet fails at attachments. (well-documented issue that has never been fixed) I'd seek alternatives that allow ease of use and the ability to move data and images and files as well as simple URL (hyperlinks) web links to and fro. It's a basic package that is very limited. About the only good thing of this platform is, the ability to SMS users using the browser through the computer and sharing links - that's it. Other than that, Pushbullet is a total dud of an app that never did much from the day they put out that rubbish.
