I was scammed by PuristLabel. They reached out to me first on instagram promoting themselves as a record label owner and marketer of music. They promised me a lot of things including: Radio play, Spotify curators list, Digital Billboard, real Instagram Promotion, and a written, published article on RollingHype. The services they provided do not offer real benefits and they lied to me about what I was getting with my purchase. I spent $400 on AfterPay (ongoing payments). PuristLabel told me they would put my song on a local radio station, called Hot Valley Radio, which was misleading and untruthful. They created their own radio (not a station) on their website, not an actual radio station people listen to. I paid for a Spotify curators list, which all emails have bounced. The Instagram promotion that I paid for in the marketing package got me a few likes (5-10) but no followers. Their engagement they use is unsuspecting followers or bots on their posts and comment the same thing with similar emojis. They are not a real marketing team and they are pretending to be a record label and music manager. The person’s Instagram handle is “daysmgmt” and also goes by another Instagram “daymgmt.” They went on an Instagram FaceTime call with me and I can say it is the same person in the posts. They are selling misleading products and failing to deliver on their promises. If you are reading this Dayton, good luck to you. You will be charged for your actions.

I signed with Purist around late August/Early Sept. I've had money and deals held up forever, and still hasn't been completed from Billboards to social media content. I was supposed to have multiple articles come out within 24-48 hours, but I had to follow up wees and a month later to get my articles published. Billboard agreement was done late Sept for a new drop, we are now going into December and nothing was still up. They will try to make you sound like you're not the one who is doing their part, but they will text or call you late (after 10:30pm) at night instead of at better hours throughout the day. I kept the track record of everything that was not completed. I've included a photo of the deal where "0%" of this was completed. They will start off good, but will fall off real fast. Want you to sign up for new things before other things are completed, and as you see they won't be completed. Please listen to my warning, do not sign with PuristLabel if you value your time and money. If you still choose to do so, please remember I told you so.

This is yet another scam "label" preying on new artists to extort them of their money as if a real label would go for someone new with only a few songs out They contacted me on Instagram through @daysmgmt and I went along with it for a bit to see what they were offering etc. Artists should know to be suspicious of anyone asking for money on IG anyway They offered me $250/month for things like weekly radio play, a featured slot on the Genius homepage (which normally costs thousands and Genius themselves confirmed they dont work with these people), app access and all sorts of other things They literally have fake Google reviews embedded on their site, which as you see aren't on the Google search itself so that's a dead giveaway There's also a negative 1* review among all the fake 5 stars on Trustpilot and ScamAdviser. They lie about featuring your songs on Genius although Genius themselves confirmed that they don't work with him and their service costs a lot more money. Their IG page is pretty dead for their amount of followers so they have a lot of bots on there, and they try to say they'll get your song on some radio station doesn't even exist outside of some Zeno.fm page

The man (Dayton Michael) who runs this page and Instagram is a liar and a scammer, a warning to everyone! They will ask you for a subscription fee of $100 per month to promote you as an artist, but half the things they say are included in the package are not free at all, but always have to be paid for "something extra". The first big lie is that it advertises Genius.com on its website, and in its offer for that $100 (you arrange everything through Instagram) claims that the same site will publish your song with words. After asking how they will publish my song if I don't send an mp3 or wav recording - he literally wrote that "they will embed the song from YouTube channel or Spotify channel" These are not true, I contacted Genius and they confirmed that they do not work with him, and the same service with them costs a lot more money. They said they would report him to Instagram for falsely advertising their site. Another lie is that he claims that 2-3 of your songs will be released in the next year on the radio station "Hot Valley 102.7 fm" - however, that radio station is not registered on that frequency, but there is only Hot Valley online radio for which you do not receive royalties. The person was reported to Stripe for the transaction with all the evidence, I hope for a refund.
