We ordered two GE XWFE water filters as directed by our apartment leasing office. Neither of them worked with our specific type of refrigerator. I sent them an email stating that and they refunded my money and I did not have to send them the water filters back. It was still a hassle to order water filters that they probably knew would not work with our refrigerator. This is one of a few problems I have with our apartments anyways but that's another story. I wish I would have read these reviews before ordering.

I bought a three pack of GE water filters from these folks for $64. The filters arrived in a reasonable timeframe, but when I installed them in the fridge they did not work. I genuinely don’t care whether water filters are counterfeit or not, but these ones didn’t work. I got an error from my fridge saying to change them and that the water dispenser was disabled because of the filter. When I reported this to their support folks it took them less than two hours to cut me a refund and tell me not to bother sending the filters back. I don’t know how legit this company is. This doesn’t seem like the behavior of a company trying to offer products and services to folks, it seems more like a scam where they’re hoping some folks don’t complain but just eat the cost.
