The powder wasn’t kept cold or shipped in any temperature controlled packaging. For peptides this is a major issue.

Hi — thank you for writing this. I looked up the order. Those vials are sealed lyophilized (freeze-dried) research powder, not mixed liquid. This is exactly how they should be shipped - let us explain and provide all the proof: We buy them from a U.S. 503A compounding pharmacy that makes them to FDA 503A standards and ships them to us in this same format: dry powder, no temperature-controlled packaging. After we receive them, we send samples out again — also without a cold chain — to an independent U.S. lab for purity, identity, endotoxins, and heavy metals. We have 100+ public COAs from that process. Those lots have already made two ambient mail trips, including out of Phoenix, and the reports do not show a degradation problem from that shipping: https://www.purgolabs.com/lab-reports If shipping peptides in room temp packaging is incorrect, why do all us pharmacies and peptide producers ship the same exact way? Dry peptide powder is the long-lived form. It is specifically designed to withstand heat and room temperatures. This is how the pharmacy that produces and makes the peptides themselves ship them to us - a quick google search or chatGPT will tell you the same -lypholized powder peptides do not need to be shipped in cold temp packaging. Here are three separate published articles proving this: FDA labeling for lyophilized tesamorelin (Egrifta SV) stores the unopened powder at room temperature, 20–25°C: https://dailymed.nlm.nih.gov/dailymed/drugInfo.cfm?setid=3d783378-b02d-4f19-99dd-0fc91a042224 USP (2023): lyophilized gonadorelin lost <1% after 34 months at 45°C — over two years, above room temperature, like shipping conditions: https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC10338602/ A lyophilized four-peptide vaccine formulation was estimated stable 18+ months at 25°C / ambient: https://www.biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/2025.08.14.670419v1 If this answers the shipping concern, please consider updating the review. We would be happy to put you in contact with the owners of the pharmacy producing these peptides to share the same info about how they can and should be shipped. If something is wrong with the vials themselves, email [email protected] and we will take care of it.

Being most of us reading these reviews are looking to inject unregulated supplements into our bodies, I have spent a month researching Peptide suppliers as I previously trusted Peptide Sciences. I was hoping to have formed a different conclusion on Purgo Labs since they are local and had some positive feedback. I'll change the review anytime the evidence shows otherwise. First, I noticed that 90%+ of people that left positive reviews, it's the only Trustpilot review they have ever made. Made me suspicious. Then the address on Via Linda St in Scottsdale is a shipping store that Purgo has a PO Box in. Then they have 3 FB pages I found and one under LLC that has been flagged. None have a following. Finally, what brought me to realize I was probably not looking at a legitimate supplier, was their COA from SteriGenix. I thought, wow that's a big named company. Not like a few seemingly common others "Peptide Focused" lab's that sure seem suspect and common among sellers that have very recently exploded into the market. Then I realized, it wasn't Sterigenics, who's name is trademarked and a subsidiary of Sotera Health. It was Sterigenix Analytical LLC with a .com, that says it's a lab in Jacksonville Fl, not accepting new clients as it's transitioning ownership. A COA from a facility without a lab, license, address, phone number or even an LLC registered anywhere in the state of Florida is not remotely certifiable evidence the product's Purgo's selling are pure and free of contamination. Another COA they show is from Ethos, who is also local. Clearbatch .net under Ethos lab review, shows they don't have a lab anywhere on site, are also new and a "Supplement Focused" testing facility. Conclusion, it's the same ring of sketchy peptide slinger's with way too many red flag coincidences from a company selling a potentially deadly product meant to inject into your body. Bummer.

Hi JT, you said you would reconsider your review if the evidence showed otherwise. We welcome that opportunity and are willing to make the verification process public. Choose any current batch and a laboratory you trust. We will ship a vial to that laboratory—or ship it to you so you can submit it yourself—with shipping and testing costs covered by us. We are happy to publicly document the batch, shipment, and resulting report, with your permission for anything involving your personal information. Your review leaves out the majority of our published testing. More than 70% of our COAs come from other labs, with 60%+ being from Freedom Diagnostics in Franklin, Tennessee, which provides HPLC purity testing, LC-MS identity confirmation, and a public report-verification system as the others do. Our recent testing also includes six-plus COAs from Kovera Labs and five-plus from ILS Laboratories. Our testing history spans Freedom, Kovera, ILS, Ethos Analytics, and Sterigenix. That is five different laboratories all giving their own independent results for our products across the span of our inventory. We previously used Sterigenix alongside Freedom, but no longer use that provider. That change does not, by itself, mean its previous results were false. If those reports do not satisfy you, our offer to independently test a current batch at your chosen laboratory stands. This is why the COA's are public for you to view - the lab used is not hidden in any way, and is in-fact highlighted for all customers to see and choose themselves. Ethos Analytics is a Phoenix-based analytical testing provider, with a published address of 3020 E Camelback Rd, Suite 397, Phoenix, AZ 85016. You can contact Ethos directly to discuss its laboratory services. This company accepts in person drop-offs of samples. We are not sure what the trust issue is here, but again, we will test our products wherever you choose. Many customers have also independently submitted our products for testing. Among the results shared with us, none have identified an issue. We welcome independent testing because it gives customers evidence beyond reports supplied by the seller. The Scottsdale address is our public mailing address. We keep our operating warehouse address private for the security of our staff and inventory; a mailing address is not evidence that a business is illegitimate. If you are aware of other peptide companies, Facebook bans all accounts that mention the word peptide. Check any other long standing company, you will find that they have had many accounts banned. Our instagram account last about a week as before being deleted on the platform. This is standard across the space, we challenge you to research this. Likewise, a business having good Trustpilot reviews does not make the reviews fabricated. We have served more than 12,000 customers over the past year and invited them to share honest feedback over the past months. We have built our trust profile with legitimate verified reviews, which trustpilot monitors themselves, and verifies using randomized invited emails for the reviews. Many are first-time reviewers. Their experiences deserve to be considered on their merits. We have not been able to identify an order or previous support inquiry associated with your review. Purchasing is not a requirement for asking questions, but we encourage you to contact us before presenting assumptions about our business as established facts. We are happy to clarify these matters for anyone. Our reports are available at purgolabs.com/lab-reports. Please contact [email protected] with the batch and laboratory you would like to use, and we can arrange the next steps.

We’re sorry to hear you feel this way. We take concerns like this seriously. However, we’re unable to locate any order or transaction associated with this review, and it appears you may have received one of our promotional emails without having previously purchased from Purgo Labs. How can you identify us as a scammer just because you received a promotional email from us and never ordered? If you have had an actual transaction or experience with us, please contact our support team so we can look into it directly. We’ve also reported this review to Trustpilot for verification because reviews should be based on an actual experience with the business.

I was very surprised to see this site rated so highly. While the response time to my email was reasonable, the reply itself felt generic and somewhat dismissive. I raised concerns about the vials not displaying a batch number that matches the COA reports, which is a basic expectation for product verification. What concerned me most was their explanation—that the labels are ‘too shiny’ to include batch numbers—and the suggestion to simply rely on Trustpilot and Google reviews. When I expressed that this didn’t address my concern, I was told I could request a return if I was still uncomfortable. In my experience, other companies I’ve ordered from clearly label their vials and provide batch numbers that correspond directly with COAs. That level of transparency is important when it comes to product quality and trust. Because of this, I did not feel confident purchasing from this company and chose to return the product (still waiting for my money to be refunded). I would advise others to be cautious and pay close attention to whether vial labeling and batch numbers properly match COA documentation before ordering.

Thank you for your feedback. We understand that transparency and product verification are important, and we’d like to provide some additional context for anyone reading this review. At the time this order was placed (several months ago), our third-party COAs were already posted directly below the product page and showed the exact vial design being used at that time. Those vials did not yet include printed lot numbers or QR codes, and this was visible in the COAs before purchase. When the customer contacted us expressing that our verification process was different from what they were accustomed to, we responded promptly and offered a prepaid return label the very same day. The products were returned, and a full refund was issued the same day the return was received. We also took this feedback seriously. About a month later, after updating our packaging, we reached back out and offered to send a complimentary updated vial featuring our new verification improvements so the customer could see the changes firsthand at no cost. Those improvements included printed lot/batch numbers, QR codes, and instructions explaining how to verify each vial against its corresponding third-party COA. While the customer chose not to accept the offer, we completely respected that decision. For anyone reading this review, all current vials now include printed lot/batch numbers, QR codes, and instructions inside every package explaining exactly how to verify each vial against its corresponding third-party COA. We always appreciate constructive feedback and continuously look for ways to improve. That said, we do feel this 1-star rating does not accurately reflect the overall experience, which included prompt communication, a prepaid return label offered immediately upon the concern being raised, a full refund processed as soon as the returned items were received, and a later offer to provide one of our updated vials free of charge after these improvements were implemented.
