Puppy spot did a great job at communicating. However, our sweet puppy showed up to the airport covered in pee from his snout all the way to his bottom/ backside. We paid for the white glove service and the offered an “upgrade” to get him to us before Christmas, we agreed. When the puppy arrived there were only paper shavings no puppy pads under him to soak things in. He was trembling and so afraid. He has settled in after 3 days, but has a cough. He will have his first vet visit on Saturday first thing in the morning. I hope our boy is going to be okay.

Adding an update to my initial review (below): PuppySpot staff took immediate action to review our puppy's documentation and contact the breeders directly for clarification. They all worked very quickly, verified documentation and contacted us directly by phone to clarify. All of our new pup's documentation is now clear and updated with our information. Thanks to all who worked so quickly to clarify for us! Again, staff were very responsive, professional (and I think as happy for us... as we truly are with our puppy). We received our puppy, Madam Mim, on December 7 as scheduled and the transport team was very thorough, a little early for delivery and professional. However, in looking through paperwork and trying to update ownership on the AKC website to transfer ownership, it requires a completed/signed AKC certificate, which we don't seem to have received. Additionally, the Small Animal Health Certificate and the Vaccination records both have an incorrect pet name on them "Candy" on one and "Madam Min" on the other. It appears we may have received another animal's vaccination record. However, the "chip number" does match the tag we received, so I called today (Dec 12, 2025) to Puppyspot to ask for someone to research and correct so we can get appropriate documentation for Madam Mim and get ownership transferred to us on AKC site with her family name "Mima". I spoke with Liz today and she's asking the tech team to research and get correct documentation to us as soon as possible.

We were very disappointment with our experience with Puppy Spot. Not only would we wait on the phone for over an hour to be connected to an agent, it would then automatically hang up. They scheduled the pick up of our puppy, only for it to be cancelled without our knowledge. So we both took the day off work and drove an hour out of our way to get a dog that wasn’t shipped the night before. When we called to complain, the agent was rude and wouldn’t let me get a word in edgewise. He consistently talked over me! The customer! Who literally spent THOUSANDS of dollars on this dog. Very poor service. Wouldn’t recommend. I appreciated heather’s phone call this evening to discuss our experience with Puppy Spot. She was caring and reassuring. She helped us figure a few things out with our sweet girl and wanted to make it better. I do appreciate you!

Did everything they said just expensive to add to the cost of puppy.

Everyone we delt with should have known the facts about adopting a pup. The last puppy shots were not given, if they were they were not documented. We were told that this puppy was AKC registered, should have been for the price we paid, but no document of such. When we paid for Tiger we were told that leash, harness, and bowls would be provided, they weren't. We were also told that a rabies shot would be provided, was not.

As an additional review, PuppySpot did, in fact, reimburse my first vet appointment. Thank you, we have since acquired additional vet fees, as my poor little buddy still can't get rid of his intestinal problems. Now he is on three medicines to try to combat this issue. I certainly hope PuppySpot comes through for my little buddy and me. I wish they had started these medicines and sent them home with me on his release vet checkup.

There were several large communication errors that affected the way our puppy was delivered. We didn’t get the white glove service or updated information about temperament that was requested.

Everything went well. I even got my puppy earlier than expected. The team was very helpful and accommodating. But when my puppy arrived he was covered in pee and poop was all in his fur. He needed a bath immediately.
