I purchased what I was guaranteed to be a teacup Pomeranian. While they now state they make no guarantees to the size of the dog, they did listen to recordings and the agent did indeed guarantee this pup would be 5 lbs or under. At the “ripe old age” of 8 months, this pup is already 12 lbs. I called and spoke to the office numerous time, each time they assured me that they would get back to me. They blow me off, don’t get back to me and have not kept their word on any type of refund. Once the pup leaves them, there is no such thing as Customer Service. I paid $3,749 for a puppy that I could have rescued at the humane society for. Completely disappointed and let down by this organization and will NEVER recommend them to anyone I know.

beware of PuppySpot.
you will be better served if you deal with the breeders directly. this organization is worse than a puppy mill they do not breed them on sight but they sell them just like a puppy mill if you sell 70 or more puppies daily what would you call it if not a puppy mill. buyers deal with breeders directly rather than using a middle man which is what puppy spot truly is.

Kody at Puppyspot.com
I'm trying to find a puppy and I come across puppyspot and I am contacted by a representative by the name of Kody. This guy calls me and start asking me about a dog puppy and i tell him I'm looking at a few, but I cannot take the phone call right now. I'm a medical provider and have to pick up my phone in regards to patients and office functions, but you he then ask me why did I pick up the phone then and I ask to speak to a supervisor and he says they have better things to do than to speak to me. I will definitely not use this site and will let anybody and everybody I know what kind of service this place offers.

I bought a high-end dog that is a..... teacup Yorkshire terrier.
I bought a high-end dog that was supposed to be a teacup Yorkshire terrier.
His father was 2 1/2 pounds and his mother was 4 1/2 pounds, I paid almost $3000 for this dog. His name is Charlie, he went to the vet when I first got him on June 22, 2018 , he was tiny when I received him, he was almost 4lbs When he arrived.
I took him to the vet four days ago the vet said absolutely he is NOT a teacup Yorkie. he is not a full blooded yorkie at all, he is a mix of yorkie and unknown breed .He’s is getting a dna test within the week. Bowlegged and also walks with a limp. And as far as the bowlegged you couldn’t really tell because of all the hair. My husband raised yorkies. His hair is so wiry Stiff. not the hair of a Yorkie
I was truly lied to about this dog. I tried calling puppy spot about a certificate I never received. but paid more money to get it, it was a certified copy that Charley was truly who they say he was, was her certificate for him that I could hang on the wall. He was supposed to be a registered A.K.C. Purebred teacup Yorkshire terrier! I tried calling them on my phone it lead me to a vioce recording ! I called them on another phone and I got through. I did this several times to make sure I let my mother and my husband listen.
I’m filing a complaint with the better business bureau, i’m also calling my congressman, I’m putting this on Facebook, Also I’m calling the attorneys general.
They are not going to get away with this one. Thank you for listening to me.

One of the worst experiences our family…
One of the worst experiences our family has ever been through. We purchased a Mini Goldendoodle that we named Wilson. Our puppy arrived, sick, with parasites and a cough. After countless visits to the vet, we were finally able to rid him of the parasites. The company never followed up on reimbursing our expenses, as they promised. From that point, the experience went even further downhill. At six months, Wilson started viciously attacking our children-unprovoked. He would go into a sudden rage and afterwards, he would seem remorseful. I again contacted PuppySpot and was told there was nothing they could do. We spent thousands of dollars on trainers. We paid a behaviorist who told us that even with behavior modification, the dog would potentially still attack. She suggested that we DNA test the dog. Turns out that he had as much Chihuahua DNA as Golden Retriever DNA. Not what we expected, nor what we were told or sold. After spending over ten thousand dollars on Wilson and his related issues, we ended up having to give the dog to the Behaviorist as a final attempt to provide him with a life, but at the same time to protect our children from further attack. Throughout our unfortunate experience, I repeatedly asked to speak to the CEO or an officer of the company. Regardless of the number of times I requested that action, it never happened. With all the issues, money spent and most importantly the disappointment and harm my children emotionally and physically suffered because of the dog, to not get a return call from the leadership of PuppySpot is telling of the modus operandi and their lack of caring about their customer, product and reputation.

If I could give puppyspot negative…
If I could give puppyspot negative stars I would in a heartbeat! Everybody be aware and do not buy a puppy from this company! They are a third party company and all they promise is lies. We got a German Shepherd puppy through them for Christmas last year and they claimed he was in perfect health and claimed he had no parasites. Upon taking him to the vet the next day, they found giardia which is an intestinal parasite that can be passed to humans. Our son was a year old and this was very concerning that we bought a dog who had intestinal parasites. He had several rounds of treatments because the parasite was hard to get rid of. The professional team at puppyspot.com received all of his records and invoices and did say that we would be reimbursed for all the treatment and testing. Each time I called to give them an update with the dogs still being positive for giardia, they told us we would be reimbursed. Here we are almost a year later and have not seen any reimbursement. Each time I have called about this they tell me that the person I spoke with before no longer works there. I also know of another person who had bought a puppy from puppyspot and their dog tested positive for SEVERAL intestinal parasites the day after they picked their puppy up. It just seems that puppyspot is only interested in taking your money and that is it. Good luck ever trying to get a reimbursement that they say you will get! I really regret getting a puppy through them and I really hope that this helps anyone who is thinking about getting a puppy through them.

Severe bilateral hip dysplasia
After just a year, we found out that our pup had severe bilateral hip dysplasia. My vet said this could have been prevented by responsible breeding. I had paid a premium price to PuppySpot to screen the breeder for me. I later found out that neither parent had any health certifications. Also, the mother was too young to have been bred in the first place. My medical expenses for this dog have been approximately $10,000. PuppySpot has reimbursed me 0.
