We bought a Miniature Pinscher
We bought a Miniature Pinscher. We are a retired elderly couple who wanted a small dog, one that would be easy to carry as we continue to age. According to AKC standards, a Min Pin will weigh between 8-10 pounds as an adult. When the breeder took Lance for his vet visit prior to us getting him, he already weighed 8.75 pounds and he wasn't quite 4 months old. Our vet told us he will weigh between 16-20 pounds as an adult, more of a MAXIMUM Pinscher than a Miniature Pinscher, based on his 4 month weight. That is NOT A SMALL DOG by anyone's standards. I asked for a partial refund of our $2,000.00 purchase price but was denied any compensation by Puppy Spot.

Carol - As a dog-loving community, committed to placing healthy puppies into happy homes, we were disappointed to learn that we may have failed to meet your needs. Unfortunately, As living, breathing beings, we are unable to guarantee the exact size of any puppy. That said, once we learned of your concerns, we offered the option to return your puppy to his breeder for a refund, at which you declined. We are happy that you love your furry family member and that he has continued to grow healthy, happy and strong as promised. We remain committed to being here for you and nurturing our relationship throughout your puppy parent journey, so please don't hesitate to reach out to us if we could be helpful in any way.
