Jamie - Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. Several members of our Client Services team have been working hard to not only understand your situation but also see how we can help, and working with you closely and diligently since. While we cannot guarantee the size, weight or even adult coat color of any of our puppies, as they are living, breathing beings, each with different genetic makeup, we go above and beyond to ensure they arrive to their forever homes healthy and happy. That said, we want to make sure our puppy parents are happy too, which is why we remain committed to working with you until all of your concerns have been resolved. Your relationship with us began, it did not end, when we matched you with your puppy and our team will continue to be here for you throughout your puppy parent journey.

David - We are very sorry for your frustrating experience. We were just as shocked and concerned as you to learn that your breeder missed one of his vaccinations. As soon as we received your feedback a member of our team was quick to reach out and has been working closely with you since. While we're happy to know after speaking to you shortly after receiving your feedback that your experience has improved and you are now receiving the level of service we strive for, please remember that your relationship with us began, it did not end, when we matched you with your puppy and we remain committed to nurturing our relationship throughout your puppy parent journey.

My Havanese puppy was listed at $2800.00 as a full blooded Havanese AKC. After I bought the puppy and tried to register him with AKC, I couldn’t. AKC said only one parent was AKC and full blooded Havanese. The other parent was some kind of mixed breed with with some Bichon Frees in her. So I could only register her with Friends of AKC, not true AKC. What a joke. Not only are the dogs on this site way overpriced, they misrepresent many dogs as AKC certifiable when they are not. I am very unhappy and will never use or recommend this company again.

We purchased a puppy, Rottweiler, from puppy spot in June. The puppy died September 7. Our vet gave all the required shots and care that was supposed to be given. We spent over $5,000 in 2 days trying to save our sweet dog. We forwarded all the information to puppy spot and they are refusing to do anything. Now they are claiming that the puppy died from ingesting poison. When we first took our puppy to the vet we had the vet check if the puppy ingested poison, among other things, because of the vomiting and diarrhea. The tests were negative and no toxin of any kind was found. They will lie and make up any story to get out of the guarantee. Read the BBB reviews. We are not the first to encounter this problem with them. The guarantee is worthless! Go elsewhere for your next dog and be saved the heartache and money.

Maria - We were truly devastated to learn about your puppy's untimely passing. It is a shocking and heartbreaking loss. We take the health and safety of our puppies seriously and make sure that each puppy has a mandated nose-to-tail exam performed by a licensed veterinarian to ensure they are 100% healthy before traveling home as we did with your puppy. We stand behind our health guarantee which is why we quickly reached out to you once we learned of your puppy's passing to express our sincere condolences and request the medical records from your vet to determine how we could help. We were shocked and concerned to learn that your puppy became very ill due to a toxin she ingested which sadly resulted in her passing. Unfortunately, the reports received by your veterinarian indicated that your pup's diagnosis was not due to a genetic or congenital condition which is covered by our industry-leading health guarantee. We are truly very sorry for your loss. As dog lovers ourselves, we understand how difficult it is to lose a furry family member and we remain committed to being here for you during this difficult time.

Magdalena - We care deeply about every single member of our community, whether they walk on two legs or four and we are devastated about your puppy’s untimely passing. Like all PuppySpot puppies, your puppy underwent a mandated nose-to-tail health examination performed by a licensed veterinarian shortly before traveling home to you, which did not indicate he was anything but 100% healthy at the time. As soon as you notified us of his passing, our team was quick to offer sincere condolences, learn more and see how we could help, including requesting the necessary documentation and vet records for our internal health team and consulting veterinarian to review. We were shocked to learn that your puppy fell ill after consuming a chicken bone which resulted in his passing. After reviewing your veterinarian's findings, we did not see anything to indicate your puppy passed from congenital or hereditary causes, nor any indication of substandard treatment stemming from the care he received from his breeder. While we are incredibly sad about your little one’s passing, it is unfair for you to hold us responsible. We're very sorry for your loss and will be here to provide support in your time of grieving.

Absolutely AWFUL experience from beginning to end. Will never recommend PuppySpot to anyone! It was one thing after another that they weren't telling us about and we would find out later. In the end we ended up spending almost $1,000 to go fly and pick up our puppy last minute. The only good thing to come out of it was our new puppy, but other than that we can't think of one positive thing to say about the PuppySpot experience. **It should be noted, after your response, that I was told I was getting a credit to my account for switching travel options, which I've yet to receive. Additionally, the travel packages were NEVER explained when setting up transport. I refused the chaperone at an additional $1300, because it had to be booked at minimum 2 weeks out, something else that was never explained until the last minute. The overall disappointment is in the PuppySpots team to clearly communicate the available options to the new family from day one. Additionally, getting someone on the phone or to respond on the app is next to impossible.

Mattie -Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. While we are thrilled to hear that you are happy with your new furry family member, it saddens us that you have negative feelings about your experience. We never want a puppy parent to feel the way that you do and we should've done better. PuppySpot is proud to offer our puppy parents several traveling options specifically designed to meet the unique needs of both our puppies and puppy parents. Our travel packages differ in pricing and we apologize if these options were not thoroughly explained. After carefully reviewing your account, we can confidently assure you, that a puppy chaperone was not included in the package purchased. That said, once you made us aware that you did not want your puppy to travel alone in a pet friendly airplane, we did offer the Chaperone option at which you refused and decided to go and pick up your puppy yourself. PuppySpot is more than a website or service, we are a community and we are committed to nurturing our relationship with you throughout your puppy parent journey!

worst experience ever, they shipped a young puppy to an airport different from what have been agreed upon, and without communicating with me (buyer) prior to shipping. puppy didn't come with documentation as promised other than travel document. puppy was in bad shape when we picked him up and was in cargo flight deck for over seven hours not including the flight time from Missouri to Raleigh. never purchase from Puppy Spot, the entire staff are thoughtless...

Douglas - We're sorry for what sounds like a frustrating start to your experience with PuppySpot. Our team does their best to accommodate our customers' preferred airports, just as we did with you, and there can sometimes be additional logistical changes due to limited flight availability to certain airports. As soon as we were made aware of the change in airports our team tried contacting you to confirm your pup's flight information but you were unable to speak with us. Once we were able to connect with you and you mentioned that you did not want your pup to fly into the arranged airport and our team quickly went into action and rebooked your puppy's flight. Although upon arrival your puppy did have to wait for a considerable time for you to get to the airport and pick him up, we are certain that your pup was well taken care of throughout his journey home to you. We strive to provide excellent service and we're sorry that you felt otherwise. PuppySpot is more than a service, we're a community and we'll continue to be here for both you and your puppy as you need us, so please don't ever hesitate to reach out if there's anything you ever need.
