I am in love with our puppy and really enjoyed working with Paul, my concierge. The only down side was that the puppy had coccidia. I was informed in advance by puppy spot. They informed me that this was identified by the vet at the breeder and was treated. I then will follow up with my vet in a week to make sure it is gone. It is common, which I understand, but we needed to have the puppy's anal glands expressed by the vet. Puppy spot very honest about it, and I had the option of cancelling the contract, however I would have felt terrible doing that and would have to wait an additional month for another puppy. I am glad I didn't cancel as he is a great pug.

My overall experience was fantastic and I'm thrilled with my mini dachshund Oliver. I browsed puppyspot, got a call from an account manager a few days later, and had a puppy on the way 3 weeks after that. The only con I had was after my purchase was made, the contact back and forths were a bit more delayed than the initial touch point, probably because they had my money at that point, they also are very busy because everyone else is getting a covid puppy as well.

Clear and consistent information. Replies were for the most part timely and complete. I found everyone I dealt with friendly, caring and professional. I would recommend them for wonderful puppies and good information. The puppy binder continues to be thorough and helpful resource.

My experience for the most part with puppy spot was a good one. I decided in a moment when I saw this puppy I had to have her. I called, paid for and waited for her to be of age to travel. I made sure to have my granddaughters here with me the day I went to pick her up at the airport. My 9 yr old granddaughter went with me. We waited just about 3 hours for her flight to come in, which was not puppy spots fault. Gotta love those airlines. She did unfortunately end up with giardia which unfortunately happens. They go out to do their “business” and if any wild animal has been in that yard and has giardia, guess what? They are gonna get it. It’s natural. Unfortunately, my other dog got it too, but we all know how dogs “greet” each other. Good ol’ sniff. I didn’t ask for reimbursement because it happens. Hopefully cured easily and all is great. Her name was Robyn, but we changed it to Emma Ann. Miss Emma and her 7 yr old “brother” Max,just love each other so much. Emma is a beautiful white miniature schnauzer, and her “brother” is a black miniature schnauzer. She celebrated her 1st birthday yesterday. We love her immensely and puppy spot, thank you. BTW...they are both cured of giardia!!

Overall great job, need more drivers. He landed in CT at 1:00pm, Didn't arrive at my house until 11:30pm. He was dehydrated and afraid so he was pretty stressed out which he would be under the best of situations.

Hi, I know that these are difficult times for everyone, and everyone seems to be touched by the virus in some way. We had quite a time getting our puppy delivered at all, and no one seemed to want to make it happen, UNTIL I found Erin. She picked up the ball and ran with it, and finally got us our puppy. transportation was the big problem, but she made it happen. This was the fourth puppy we have gotten from puppyspot, so we had always gotten excellent service before. Also this puppy arrived with parasites. My vet caught it and we have been treating for it. Then when we thought it had been handled we tested for it, and again this showed up so we're treating for the second time. I have two other dogs, so all three had to be treated. You may want to notify the breeder in case it is still in her kennels. Overall, we are happy with you and the puppy. Thank you for asking. Sincerely, Lynn Reach

The 4 star rating is for PuppySpot only. The breeder rating is 0. PuppySpot communicated well with us until we bought our puppy. After that point, we were advised to use the app. The app needs a lot of work in order to provide a better buying experience for the new owner. We ended up sending emails instead. The PuppySpot managers responded well to these emails. Our main issue with our puppy was the delivery of the dog to us. Our dog arrived extremely hypoglycemic. We had him for 5 hours and had to rush him to the emergency pet hospital for care. We were glad that we did take him in, because he might have died that night if we had not. He was in the hospital for 4 days. PuppySpot covered our medical bills promptly, which we were grateful for. The other problem with our dog was that he had giardia. We found this out when we took our puppy to his normal vet a couple of weeks later. Based on how sick he was when we took him to emergency and how long it took for his blood sugar to recover (even with mass doses of glucose), it was obvious that he had more than just hypoglycemia going on. The giardia combined with the hypoglycemia resulted in a critically sick dog. The breeder never should have sent him to us in this condition. We also question the "vet" that he was taken to two days before we received him. His health was "perfect" according to this doctor. Two days later he was at death's door. When we got him, he weighed under 2 pounds. He should have stayed with the breeder until he reached 2.5 pounds. We subsequently found out that he was being fed Fruit Loops, which has absolutely zero nutritional value. He was not eating much, probably due to the giardia, and he was being given nutrical. The breeder should have checked with a vet to find a puppy food that would have worked for him. We spent almost $3000 on our dog and we expected much better. Caveat emptor.

I agree with so many recent reviews: in one hand, contact sort if fell off after I purchased my puppy, and I would very much have liked more information on him and how he was doing, his personality, etc. In the other hand, they worked with a truly great breeder and i received a clean, wonderful-smelling, happy, social, healthy 10-week old puppy yesterday who is everything i wanted and more. At this point i would use them again and can recommend them highly.
