I purchased a dog from puppy spot in March I think they need to make sure their puppy’s get tested for parasites I only had him 1 day took him to his 1st vet appointment and he tested positive my poor puppy came with giardiasis received my puppy on March 6th and still can’t seem to get rid of it he has been on meds since march. I paid over 2500 for a golden doodle that’s a lot of money for him to come infected with parasites. I am not a happy customer maybe they need to run more testing on their dogs before they sell to customers.

Thinking of cancelling before we get our puppy..
I have only just purchased our puppy less than a month ago. Still haven't received her but am about to cancel...So far, the communication has been awful. Stayed on hold 2x for over 45 mins each time. Putting in our phone number for a callback had resulted in nothing twice.
1) I asked for an updated photo 8 days ago. Received lots of excuses and nothing still.
2) I read online they "offer" a conference call with the breeder. I was told "its hard to do so now.." Sure, I imagine with the entire country at home its hard to place a phone call. I do 35+ zoom calls a week so yeah....
3) puppyspot "disabled" my chat feature online. I keep screenshots though.
4) No one told me about a delay. Puppy due this week. Now its the week of 5/8...maybe....and they tried to get me to allow a flight and I declined due to the coronavirus.
5) I would give 0 stars but no option. We've waited 3 yrs since our dog of 14+ yrs died to open our hearts again to be treated like this...

They lied to us
They lied to us. First our puppy was super sick when we got him giardia, and ear infection. The dog hadn’t seen a vet for 12 days before he was driven to us(they state 3-5 days) Also was supposed to be driven by 2 drivers there was one guy. In the world we are living in I understand a lot but honestly they did nothing right they suck

BEWARE, they are scammers, they will break your heart
If I could give them a zero star I would. I bought a female boxer puppy from Karla at Puppy Spot. During her speech / common run down, perhaps read from form langue. She got to the 10-year guarantee. She mentioned that if you breed the dog, your 10-year guarantee is over. I stopped her right there and said " Karla I intend on breeding this dog in 2 years" she said " That's ok it will just void your guarantee". The entire reason I would pay $4000.00 for a puppy is (to yes be a family dog) but certainly to breed it. I can buy a non-AKC boxer any day of the week for $500.00. She should have interceded then and told me that the puppies would never be able to be AKC registered. I would have never made the purchase, but we receive the puppy, get attached, go to register the puppy the following Monday, and then the sky starts falling. They had a 3rd party company call me (probably a subsidiary) and tell me it will be an additional $500.00 to register the puppy. I told them I would have to think about it. I immediately called AKC. Tamara at AKC told me, “that was not correct” that she could process the paper work, but puppy spot had sent them paper work for the "Canine Partners Program" non-breed or show. I explained to her that Karla at puppy spot had told me I could breed the dog it would just void the 10-year health guarantee. She told me to contact puppy spot, it was possible they (AKC) had received the wrong paper work. So, I called puppy spot to discuss the situation. I explained to the sales gal that answered the phone that I realized she was not the person I had talked to, but please hear me out. She told me that was in fact how they sold their puppies and that Karla should have disclosed that to me. She then transferred me to her manager Maria (to be honest I don’t think these are real names. They role play, its unimaginable). She defended Karla's actions and told me “she had my signature” that “she wasn’t going to allow me to start a puppy mill”. Unbelievable, who’s running a puppy mill, she has my signature (well that’s manager material there). Finally, she basically told me to pound dirt. Stay away from these people they will rip you off.
Well you couldn’t imagine things could get worse, but hold on. So, at 2:30 Monday afternoon we go to our veterinarian appointment with our local vet. This is to fill out the puppy spot supplied form for there supposed 10-year guarantee. The first thing she looked at were the shot records, she was appalled. They had given the puppy multiple shots in two-week intervals. She says “toxic”. Also, that it doesn’t do any good. You have to wait for the one shot to expire, then give it again, which they didn’t do. Well have to re-do her last two sets of shots. We had told her our puppy’s eyes were watering. Her diagnosis, Infection, prescribed a prescription. (noted as “no discharge” on puppy spots inspection. I’m pretty sure they will claim we did that in 4 days. Then the real horror, she (our vet) says there’s scar tissue on this puppy’s stomach, she’s had surgery. She might have been spayed or born with a hernia, it’s hard to tell. Finally, she says “I have so much to write on this form, can you please come back and pick it up tomorrow. Were lost, new at this. Beware they are a scam preying on gullible, honest people.
The breeders are Sugarfork Kennels Goodman MO 64843, Kenneth & Abigail Anderson (417) 364-8766. I have no issue with them at this time. I do however hold that in waiting and seek their sense of fairness in this matter. To do what is right and correct the AKC paper work. I do not at this time seek to return the puppy, we adore her. They do however have responsibility in the matter. They are the breeders and hire out their services to puppy spot. Which I know at this point is dishonest, lies and cheats. They will in fact laugh in your face, and will break your heart.

Do yourself a favor and get a puppy somewhere else!!!
Well the puppy I have is amazing, but when she was delivered to me she was so sick...after almost 9 months and many medical bills. Puppy Spot more than willing to help the whole time, came back to me when it was all said and done and only offered me $100. Very unprofessional, I would not recommend them.
Also after I had purchased my puppy and she was on the way I started seeing many awful reviews... DON'T use them!

I thought I was dealing with a…
I thought I was dealing with a reputable company, but, this could not be further from the truth. First I was told repeatedly that the warranty on the puppy would cover everything, and I mean everything. Puppyspot made somewhat of restitution. The second issue that just came up that was NEVER mentioned, is I can't breed my puppy once so I can have her puppies without canceling the warranty. I spoke to the rep. numerous times and nothing was told to me. I love my English Masstif having one before, I had to put her down due to cancer. These puppies are not cheap, and to not disclose everything is very poor practice in my opinion. BUYER BEWARE!
Also, it goes without saying I'll not buy another puppy from them again.

So bad
Shocking. So many calls when they are selling then absolutely shocking customer service. Charge a fortune and deliver very little. They should be ashamed. Would not recommend and presume will go out of business shortly.

Air travel of dog
They seemed like a reputable business as per fancy web sight .The sales person I talked to and purchased dog seemed decent and informative.Except when he told me 400.00 dollars for one way travel for dog.The day of arrival was to be 5 hours earlier until I got a call stating they put dog on second flight because dog got too hot according to puppy spot employ .when we finally got dog after 12 hours on 2 planes for a 2 hour flight .The dog was in crate in vomit no water and zip tied the cage so no one ever looked a dog which I was told going to happen .The poor dog was abused and surprised he lived .For 2900.00 for a champion dog treated like baggage..I tried to call to find out some answers but still waiting for call No way to treat animals .Buyer Beware .

Bruce - We're really sorry for what sounds like a frustrating experience, and one we never want a puppy parent to have. We were shocked and concerned to learn that your puppy arrived in that state. Since receiving your feedback a member of our team has been in contact with you to learn more and see how we can help. Although this is a rare occurrence it is the exact opposite of what PuppySpot expects for any of our puppies and we will be sure to share your feedback with the airline so, they too can be aware and learn from this unacceptable situation. Our relationship began when your puppy arrived home and we're committed to being here for you every step of the way from here on out!
