I have called Puppy Spot aboutr my breeder problems and they do not return calls.
MY Yorkie poo from Double R Kennel was adorable until it grew spots on skin but not on the hair. therefore she always looks dirty. Her hair is very thin and sees through to the skin easily. Plus the tearing is excessive. I have had Yorkie poos before and these are not typical problems. Her trainer and said she had ADHD. She is not potty trainable after 9 months. I spent 3K and got a pound pup. INSIST on seeing photos of the parents. none were offered, now I know why. Good breeders breed out defects in pups.

Do not buy from PuppySpot
Do not buy from PuppySpot, they give you promises they can not keep. Do not believe their Health guarantee, they do not guarantee anything. You buy from PuppySpot at your own risk, your puppy can come home very sick, although they promise you vet check. Do not get misled and confused the company itself does not do any health checks of your puppy, health check is done by the breeder's vet who is in on it, breeder's vet will give excellent exam result in order for the breeder to sell the puppy to you. The point is PuppySpot does not know anything about the breeder and the vet, they give you Health guarantee that says that if your vet finds that your puppy is sick you can send it back and receive refund or the puppy at the same price. Now think how many dog lovers will send sick puppy back, not many. That is how this company ripps you off, you are left with the sick puppy and huge vet bills to pay. That is what happened to me. The breeder and her vet lied to me about my puppy's hereditary disease, one of the testicles did not descend, although I specifically asked the breeder about this problem before the puppy was shipped, she convinced me that her vet examined the puppy and it was all right, both testicles descend. Now my puppy has to undergo surgery, I have to pay 1500 or more in vet bills in addition to huge amount paid to crooks at PuppySpot. They mislead you by their promise they give at their main website page, pay attention they are smart they do not give warrantee they give you a promise that leads you to think they puppy was checked by the company's vet. Their advertisement is misleading and confusing, before buying read contract and Health guarantee very carefully, they lead you into thinking they guarantee puppy's health. Buyer be ware you buy at your own risk, it is better not to buy from this company and the breeder from Pensilvania Lada Kalinikova, do not buy from she lies to her customers, do not visit her vet who is also a liar his name is Oleg Shleyfers also from Pensilvania, this guy is a liar and not a professional. People think twice before buying from PuppySpot. I just love their reply it is so polite and full of empty phrases that do not mean anything. Your trusted breeder Lada Kalinnikova in conversation with me mentioned that my puppy is not the first one she sold with the same hereditary health defect therefore you keep selling sick puppies from this breeder and do not break a contract with her, although she know that she had the same problem with the other buyer before. what do you call that, you are aware of the problem and you keep selling sick puppies, two puppies with the same defect is not an accident it is a tendency meaning that there is a hereditary defect and you said that this breeder was checked by you, how did you check her, why you do not break a contract with her, is not that called lying to your customers, people do not buy from these polite liars with empty promises. People read the answer from Puppy spot they do not answer any questions that I asked, what they do here they are being polite, I do not need their polite answers I am the one left with the problem. I will not stop, till they tell the truth to their customers. They promise to pay vet bills, listen according to their promise I am not supposed to have those bill, because as they said they check their breeders this is the first lie, they do not check anyone they keep on selling sick dogs to the public. Even with the expenses of vet bills they make milllions on us people they rip you off. There are two points first they give you Health guarantee which is in reality a guarantee of refund and exchange for ten years. I am wondering how many people will send back their dog after ten years, therefore this guarantee means nothing. by the name Health guarantee they make you think that they guarantee a healthy dog, that is how they mislead you. Many people do not read documentation well you have to read a contract and Health guarantee carefully you are paying thousands of dollars to these crooks. The second point they never check their breeders, they are just advertisement for any breeder who registers with them. PuppySpot vet just read papers that breeder sends to them, I can do it you can do it just read papers, that is all, they never investigate or send someone to see a dog or a breeder, they lie to you here too, Do NOT Trust them do not buy from them or you will have a problem, they are frauds. what the hell protocols my breeder followed? to do the vet check, may be she did may be not who knows and vaccinations these are your protocols, Do Not buy from these crooks with all their beatiful words they are trying to lead you to think they are the best, well no. they are the worst, I am going to sue them for every bad moment that I had because of these crooks.

Angela - We are sorry for your frustrating experience and we are disappointed to learn that you have such a negative impression of PuppySpot. Our top priority is always the health and well-being of our puppies, period. Your puppy came from a pre-screened breeder who met our high standards. PuppySpot absolutely does not tolerate substandard breeding of any kind. Your puppy's breeder followed our mandated health and vaccination protocols, and your puppy underwent an extensive nose-to-tail health exam from a licensed veterinarian, which he passed and was in no way falsified, before coming home to you. As soon as you notified us of your puppy’s condition, our team quickly reached out to learn more and see how we could help.
We always stand behind our puppies and health guarantee, which is why we offered to cover your vet bills associated with treating your puppy with proper documentation. You then expressed that your puppy may have to undergo surgery in the near future, to which we also offered to assist, providing we receive the proper documentation from your vet. We take pride in the hones and trusted service we provide our puppy parents and can assure you at no point were you mislead by anyone on our team. We understand how scary it can be when our furry friends aren't feeling well and the stress medical bills can cause. This is why we put forth a health guarantee to assist in those times of need. That being said, as several of our team members have mentioned in our communications with you, we are committed to being here for you and your little one throughout his treatment, and once we have received and reviewed the necessary documentation, we will have a better understanding of how to assist you.

I would like to give Puppyspot a good…
I would like to give Puppyspot a good review, but I cannot. Unfortunately, the folks at puppyspot are either inexperienced or dishonest. We were 'mislead' or lied to by the original puppy concierge and then spoke with a manager. The manager then made promises to keep the transaction alive. Later when the promises turned out to be lies, I left multiple messages for the manager, never to hear from him. Only form emails.
I highly recommend a pet for your family. I also highly recommend finding that puppy with someone other than Puppyspot. However if you decided to use them, be sure not to make any promises to your family based on their promises and commitments. They will make you look bad.

Paul - We are disappointed by your experience. While it's true that we do offer several delivery options for your puppy, during the current travel restrictions we are facing, some of those options are no longer available. Our available travel options along with the estimated time of delivery based on the travel option chosen should've been clearly communicated with you at the time you selected your puppy. Given our recent communications with you, it sounds like you would have been more than understanding if we had set the proper expectations, and for that, we apologize. We're thrilled to report that your new furry family member, candy is currently on her way to her new forever home and look forward to future "pupdates." Welcome to the PuppySpot family!

Beware!!!
Beware!!!! Although I actually did receive and love my new puppy Mr.Jack.. he has an incurable genetic disorder called Scotty cramp, a neurological disease that is passed on by both sires.. Puppy spot assured me the breeder did genetic testing on the parents of M.Jack but that was a lie.. furthermore they keep you in the dark about the breeder and there is no way to contact the breeder directly for information prior to adoption..I am horrified by the experience and now I have a handicapped puppy that will never be able to go on hikes, long walks or have hard playtime.. I will need to give him medication and supplements for his entire life...

Puppyspot is only a for profit middleman
Please read the bad reviews, and be mindful before you purchase your furry friend from this company. We had a bad experience with them purchasing our puppy, and had to cancel and get a reimbursement through our credit card company. PuppySpot is basically a middleman in the transaction. If you would buy a puppy from a puppy store, you can buy a puppy from them. They do not fully screen the breeders they get on board, and we found our breeder not to be a professional breeder at all. When we finally got to speak to him (through many requests), we found him to have a small side business and not very knowledgeable as a breeder. He was very honest and told us a lot about the puppy and his parents. Do your research, and buy directly from a local, reputable breeder or better yet, go to your local animal shelter and give a loving home to a pet in need. We learned our lesson, and will never order a dog again.

I am still desperately waiting for my puppy. I was told today it was finally happening..for real..Not "TENTATIVELY". Puppy Spot just ripped my heart out again. They don't care. I'm hysterical ndand can't write full review but will when more composed. They just lie and then leave you bawling your eyes out..Again..Everyday for weeks on end. Don't do this to yourselves.

My puppy has been sick since I received…
My puppy has been sick since I received him. We are still working with the vet and running tests to try and figure out what the issues is. He has and upper respiratory issues and runny poop since day one. He has been on meds and had many tests we are still waiting for results. Hope he is better soon. We have paid over $700.00 in vet bills after paying 3k for a pup. Super sad for him and us.

Stephanie - We were really concerned to learn your puppy Ottis, arrived not feeling well, especially because he was given a clean bill of health shortly before traveling home to you. Once we were made aware of the issue, a member of our health team reached out to see how Ottis was doing and request his medical records for review. We always stand behind our health guarantee with proper documentation and will continue to be here for both you and Ottis, until he is feeling better, and throughout your puppy parent journey!

Do not buy a puppy from PuppySpot
My puppy arrived with Giardia Elisa and diarrhea that I had to treat for almost a month (still treating). On the fourth day with us He had a bloody diarrhea and we went to the emergency veterinarian care which is expensive. The first three weeks I could not leave him for a minute. He could go poop 15 times a day.
According to the PuppySpot policy “ Days 1-14: If, within 14 days of arrival, your puppy is found to have a contagious disease, illness, or parasite, PuppySpot will provide you with reimbursement of reasonable and customary veterinary bills to treat such condition up to the purchase price of your puppy.”
But since the puppy is still not completely healthy, we must wait for a full recovery and only then maybe part of the money spent from $ 1,500 for the first two weeks after his arrival can be returned to us. After Care Team service is absolutely worthless.
When you buy a puppy for $ 4,100, you expect at least some kind of health guarantee. However, with PuppySpot this is the exact opposite.

Viktoria - As dog lovers ourselves, we were concerned to receive your feedback about your little one. As living, breathing beings, as unfortunate as it is, puppies sometimes get sick, that is why we have a dedicated health team to provide ongoing support for our puppy parents. As soon as we received your feedback a member of our management team quickly reached out to learn more and see how we could help. We understand your concerns regarding our health guarantee and your pup's ongoing treatment and as promised we will continue to work closely with you until your puppy is feeling 100% better. You joined a community when we matched you with your puppy and we will be here for you every step of the way.
