We will never buy from Puppy Spot again! Everything was going great until they called us to let us know our puppy died. We didn’t get any explanations on what happened. The breeder wouldn’t talk to us. Puppy Spot just wanted us to pick a new Morkie from the list or refund our money. We had already bought everything for our little ‘Finn.’ He was arriving in 2 weeks. We couldn’t just pick another dog from the list. Nobody cares/cared that our hearts are/were broken. I regret everything! Don’t buy from Puppy Spot!

We were guaranteed that our puppy would arrive healthy, however upon arrival he had ringworm and hookworm. This is unacceptable. He has had so many vet visits and now we cannot even enjoy our puppys puppy stages.

Stay away from this organization. I purchased a puppy from them that arrived August 1, 2020. Swagara (now called Millie). She arrived extremely sick- she had mange, a skin infection, and a bladder infection and we just found out is still suffering from Giardia. Originally I was told I would be refunded the pet's vet bills from these original issues and would just need to confirm my details by responding to an email from puppyspot "accounting", but no refund, no email, etc. On top of this, Puppyspot uses a company called 3rd party pets to complete the pet registration. They are holding up the transfer of ownership from the breeder to me until I pay them directly an additional $756. Puppyspot claims this was already paid, but of course, this was never paid to 3rd party pets for the transfer. Stay away from this company.

This place is dangerous. They provide sick puppies, have no care for the dog's health and are the opposite to transparent. After my puppy got hospitalized after delivering him to me, they agreed to refund my money, however this company considers that the tax, transportation and health certificate are not part of the dog's value and therefore will never refund you the total value. If you have time for a lawyer I recommend it, since their terms are abusive and unclear. In addition this company will never reply to you in writing, a proof of how dodgy and unethical they are. Please don't use them.

Our puppy passed away suddenly, she was very anxious had odd bowl movements and when we spoke with the representative he was very rude to me. I would not recommend ever purchasing a puppy through bpuppyspot!

My puppy who I love and adore came to us with a double ear infection and kennel cough. Although, he is fine now, after treatment, it was very discouraging to receive such a lovely creature who was so so sick. PuppySpot has taken more than 4 weeks to respond to our claims requesting reimbursement for the costs associated with treating the puppy and bringing him back to a healthy state. As much as we love your new family member, we would likely not recommend anyone use PuppySpot's service if they are looking for a healthy puppy and a worry-free process.

Don't be fooled into thinking PuppySpot breeders are well screened. Our breeder had no idea how to take care of a Great Dane puppy. We decided to pick up our puppy at 8 weeks old in person to make sure the puppy was bonded to us. We drove 3 days & almost 2K miles so we could meet the breeder before completing our purchase. The day before we are supposed to meet, we are told the vet found pressure sores on the puppy. We were asked if we still wanted to move ahead. We have already driven to the city where we are meeting. We have been told very little prior to that. He was one of 9 puppies in the litter, his "breeder" had no experience with the breed. The puppy had been laying on rubber mats rather than something to protect his skin & coat. I was told directly from the owner that they fed all the puppies 1 time per day. They quickly changed what they had said to feeding the puppies 2 times a day. Great Danes are supposed to be fed 3 times a day. He was 17.5 pounds (15-25 pounds is normal for an eight week old Dane). We were told he was potty trained. "When we let them outside, the all line up to go." They were only let out after they were fed. The puppy was supposed to be partially socialized. The owner's daughter came over to the puppy while I was holding him to pull on his ears. Her mom quickly told her to stop & that it was cruel to do to him. The "breeder" continued to say things like the puppy had not been handled much. I did get to see the puppy’s mother. She had a major scar on her side. I was told she worked on the farm & that's where the scar came from. The owners also mentioned his mother was a small, under the radar breeder. Just small enough to avoid any negative attention. The owners are breeding to get money to get out of debt. PuppySpot says they check these people out. Any checks on this "breeder," must have been done by a blind inspector who looked the other way instead of rejecting them as "breeders." At this point I am pretty concerned. I am starting to feel like I am rescuing the puppy from someone who had no business breeding dogs at all. I didn't feel like I could, in good conscience, say no to taking the puppy. I knew that he would have a better home with us than he was born into. PuppySpot went from extremely responsive when we were looking at buying a puppy to very difficult to reach almost as soon as we paid for him. The longer we have had him (about 1 month now), the more regret we have had. We feel like we have supported a puppy mill. We have spoken with local, high quality breeders, professional dog trainers, & our veterinarian. There is no way that PuppySpot or the owners of the puppy mill care about the dogs or the breed. It is just a business to them. Do you think this an isolated case? Check out PuppySpot on the Better Business Bureau & you will see, this is the way PuppySpot runs it's business. Look for a good breeder that you can meet, develop a relationship with, & see how the puppies are raised. Don't be fooled!

I love my puppy. But he came w giardia-an intestinal parasite- and 6 weeks later and one ER visit for dehydration we are still dealing with it.
