My puppy was diagnosed with Giardia and I had the option to have her delivered and I would administer medicine, or delay delivery until she was cleared of the infection. I have two other dogs so I chose to have her cleared before delivering her. The puppy was treated and "cleared" of giardia and was then delivered on 8/21/25. The delivery team was fantastic. During her physical I was told that not only did she have giardia, she also had coccidia. She was treated for both. Coccidia cleared but it is now October 25, and she STILL has Giardia, despite multiple treatments (one of which we just completed). Thankfully my other two dogs have not contracted parasites from her....yet. So far I have spent well over 500 to have her treated, and that will triple if my other two dogs get infected.

I have been a loyal customer for about a decade. I have purchased four puppies (Mr. Merle, Sugar, Cade, and Echo.) The customer service is in a downward trend. The puppies are great but communication is lacking. Each and every time I purchase a puppy, I feel a major disconnect and feel that I am taken for granted. Your team does not seem to be performing to expectations. Not to mention, a requirement for pet insurance for the guarantee is prosperous. My late mother told me about you and she had purchased multiple puppies from you as well. I am not satisfied with your business and will look for other options if needed. The puppies were great (Mr. Merle passed away at ten years). In addition, the communication with the delivery of the latest puppy Echo was frustrating. Your company needs to evaluate and decide if I am entitled to some sort of refund on your behalf and not the breeder. I am upset and have learned my lesson dealing with PuppySpot. Great looking puppies but your company is looking out for yourselves and not the customer. I strongly suggest that anyone that goes through the purchase process to mark my comments and support my claim. The puppies are exceptional but the quality and customer support needs vast improvement.

Our experience with PuppySpot was VERY disappointing. The person we spoke with originally (he called himself Uncle David) seemingly said whatever needed to make the sale. After we purchased the puppy he was unresponsive to our questions despite telling us to reach out if we needed anything as he had or could get the answers. When we reached other representatives (a difficult task at best!) we were told they didn’t know why we were told certain things and that David has nothing to do with anything after purchase. Additionally, there were issues about transportation that delayed delivery. We told David before completing the adoption that we were opposed to her flying unattended and would not move forward with adoption if that’s how she would arrive. He assured us transport is ALWAYS done in a climate controlled Sprinter van with two attendants, which was perfectly acceptable and sealed the deal. However, PuppySpot sent a text telling us her flight number and arrival date. Also sent was instructions to bring clippers to cut the wire ties of her kennel upon arrival. We were livid as she is a 2.5 pound girl and hypoglycemia is a real thing and being attended to is a MUST. Needless to say we had to work hard to find a real person to change the way she was transported. Once we did, it took several weeks to coordinate everything. The good news is that the transporters themselves were phenomenal! I gave them 5 stars! And the breeder brought forth an amazing little girl!

We got our puppy September 20th as expected but this puppy is definitely not used to human interaction, she was not groomed, her nails were very long and has parasites in her colon. She was at our vet September 23rd and her poop test came back with those results. I would not recommend her breeder. She is like a puppy who spent her first months in a kennel. It’s a very disappointing situation but we are spending all our time making her feel loved and cared for.

Too many emails. Got confusing. Delivery, insurance, check in, etc. Became spam. The delivery was scheduled for 4 am. We were prepared but did not show up till 5 am. I had to call to find out where they were. Finally, the puppy we received is not the sweet playful dog described. She is a loner, anxious and it has been difficult to get her acclimated. She seems fearful of women particularly. I would be unlikely to adopt this way again. Based on this experience, I would prefer knowing the breeder. I hope we can get her calmed down and trained but we are disappointed.

This review is for Puppy Spot and the breeder who sold us the dog. First, this dog was purchased at 8 weeks old and did not show up to our home until 13 weeks old. An earlier, in-person pickup was denied. Second, the puppy had fleas all over. Third, the puppy was transported in a crate it could not leave for three days. The transporter told us it had not left the small crate in the van for three straight days. Fourth, the puppy arrived completely not potty trained and has had tremendous challenges becoming potty trained due to its upbringing. The poor dog drinks its own pee when in its crate and pees on the floor regularly despite us taking it to go outside every hour. While this little dog is adorable and has the visual traits we were searching for, all buyers should beware of the puppyspot puppy mill breeder traits that may come with the puppy.

My initial interaction with PuppySpot was great. They kept me informed through email and relayed useful information. However, when my Cavapoo puppy, June, was transported from Calvin and Ashley, she was filthy with matted fur and urine stained paws. The Vet saw her and diagnosed a double ear infection and a skin infection requiring antibiotics. I was very disappointed. Susan

Communication from Lynne during the initial process was good and consistent. I started having concerns when it took a month from purchase date to receive my puppy. My puppy arrived late in the day, giving very little time to even let him get comfortable before it was time for bed. His initial vet visit (the day after I received him) produced lab work that revealed an uncommon worm variety that he most likely picked up during transport, since it takes 5-12 days after initial infection to manifest in stool samples. Which tells me that my puppy spent DAYS in a transport van... or else he got it while still at the breeder, which is equally disappointing. Either way, without paying for additional pet insurance that Puppy Spot doesn't tell me about until AFTER I've made the purchase, they won't honor their own "Puppy Health Guarantee." The puppy arrived desperately in need of a haircut, and had clearly received no training or socialization, which is extremely disappointing for a puppy that is 6 months old, basically an adolescent. Seems like at least some basic housebreaking and crate training would take place by that point, simply for the benefit of the puppy, if not the owner (he was 22 weeks old when I committed to the purchase). Overall, I would not recommend PuppySpot; I don't know that I can reliably trust the breeders they are offering puppies from.
