DO NOT BUY. This is what I learned while purchasing…
This is what I learned while purchasing a puppy. To begin with, don't buy a puppy from them and tell everyone you know the same. I will spare you every detail, but I will give you some essential points. I purchased a puppy in September 2021 and she came in with such anxiety problems that I couldn't even get her out from under the bed for almost a month. Seriously, I had to pull her out from under bed to go potty. When I got her, she was 7 months old and it was obvious that she had been abused and mistreated (I am assuming by a man). Despite all my hard work as well as that of my trainer and veterinarian, she is almost as bad now 6 months later as the day she arrived. After she arrived I did research on the breeder and some background where I discovered that she had come from a different state to him which was never disclosed to me and puppyspot had no idea even though they're the ones that sent me the paperwork. They assured me that they would look at the breeder and ensure that there was no abuse. I'm certain they did not. They will not honor their promises and you will be given the run around so much you will want to give up. If you don't give up you may even speak to someone (which I did after demanding I get a call at 8pm) who will do nothing but direct you to their website with the same information you likely have already found on the internet. I'm sure I don't need to tell you but don't believe the four or five star ratings because they only ask for reviews from people who they know they will give them high ratings. I left a poor review here early on explaining my experience in great detail and received a response from puppy smart containing flat out false information to which I couldn't respond to publicly and no one in the company contacted me directly with a single question or a follow-up on how she was doing. Their response states I was told things that I certainly was not, how they helped after the delivery and was designed to dispel anything negative I had to say knowing that I couldn't respond. You will get no information about breeders or parents and no detailed veterinary information until they drop the dog off. Regardless of what I said they wouldn't provide me with it after asking several times just to be told that they can't because it's against protocol. You won't be able to do any research ahead of time which raises a huge red flag for anyone who has adopted a dog before. It is important to note that at this point, I had already paid in full and any rational person would feel entitled to all the information I wanted. After buying the dog from the seller (who may as well sell used cars) you will never speak to the same person or correspond with them twice. Make sure you keep the name and phone number of the swindler who sold you the dog because that's who you're going to have to use as the point person. They will push you off to a number of other people, but stick with that person and get him to do his job. Ultimately, this company promises you everything you want to hear and delivers just about none of it. They will not keep their word by saying that it is always someone else's department or their responsibility to take care of it. You will not receive a call back so you will never actually talk to this mysterious "other person" who does handle your problem. Read the negative comments on here and notice a common theme. Don't ignore this because where there's smoke, there's fire. I don't have the time to write reviews and rarely ever do but I'm taking the time to do so and that must tell you something.
