This was the first time ever utilizing an online platform to purchase something like an animal, but I love the ability to choose from a wide variety of animals. From the point we located the dog we had a person from PuppySpot immediately reached out to us to answer questions and assist us with the purchase of our new furbaby. The person was very nice and expressed a great desire to assist us with anything we could possibly need, even after we paid our money. After the purchase price of more than $2,500.00 for the dog and almost $900.00 for transportation, I wanted to prepare for our new addition and sent a message to the person who assisted us and asked the size (weight) of the dog so that we would be able to purchase a harness. I never heard anything further from this person. Additionally, I continually tried to get information by attempting to get into my portal on the PuppySpot website, but unfortunately every time I tried, I received a message that stated the website was trying to redirect me too many times. From the picture provided of our dog from the website, she appeared to be about 20 pounds. Luckily, we did not purchase anything significant because upon her arrival she was 40 pounds. The delivery process was excellent, the people were kind and loving with our dog, but it was very expensive. We were able to purchase round trip tickets for two from Tennessee to Colorado, for less than what we paid for the dog's delivery. We absolutely love our new furbaby and are so glad that we were given the opportunity through PuppySpot to get her, but more communication would have been great!

Loved our puppy and the interaction with the customer service team and the breeder. Online account access was terrible so we couldnt see any updates to our puppy and communicate about food etc

Minimal to no communication with the breeder made me question the health and safety of the puppy. Each puppy spot person was helpful but the closed communication with the breeder was very difficult.

The process started with Jordan. He was wonderful. Then my number and email was handed off. I couldn’t get hardly anyone to respond to a text or email. Just a notice that a team member was being assigned. On the rare occasion someone did get back with me they were incompetent and not informed. For example I asked about the delivery service. She said my dog would be on the road for two to four weeks. I only live 330 miles away! What could we do to speed up the delivery time? Maybe meet them somewhere. They said it would not matter. It came To a point I honestly thought I had been scammed. But I did get my dog and the pickup went well. Need to work on the people who get the customers second hand! They don’t make the customer feel good!

The door-to-door service was not as I had hoped for: 1. Ted (now named Bo) had a double ear infection and a very foul, distinct, infected smell in both ears. 2. We also didn't receive the food that we had been accustomed to eating. 3. And finally, the length of 3 weeks for delivery was a bit disappointing.

Update: PuppySpot did reach out to me regarding our bad experience and was very apologetic. I appreciate the time they took to talk to me more about my experience and make it right. Original: I am writing today because what was supposed to be a joyful night last night, welcoming our new puppy home, turned into a very frustrating experience. First of all, I received 2 emails regarding our puppy's delivery date/time, with different information. I emailed this email for clarification and was told 3/25 @ 9 pm in Blaine (15 min from our house). We told the kids, everyone was excited and anxious to meet the new member of our family.At about 7 pm, we received a call from the people transporting our puppy saying they know that we weren't supposed to meet them until tomorrow (not what Puppy Spot told us) but if we would like to meet them in Woodbury (30 min from our house) at 9:15 pm we could still get her tonight. We arrived at the meeting spot at 9 pm, still very excited.At 9:15, we text the transporter, Carla, and told her we were there. She text back and said she was sorry but it looked like it was going to be more like 9:45pm. This was frustrating because I have my 2 kids with me, on a school night and we are 30 min from home. We decide to wait. At 9 45pm Carla texts and said the GPS took her husband to the wrong location and it was now going to be 10:30pm. Now my husband is very mad and frustrated, my kids have to use the restroom and I'm just trying to keep everyone from melting down. The transport did show up at 10:30 with our new sweet puppy. He didn't give us any information on her status and didn't verify who we were or sign anything for picking her up. It felt very unstructured. To say this is disappointing doesn't do it justice. Instead of a happy family picking up their new puppy, who we have been trying to get for a couple years, everyone was tired, cranky and extremely frustrated. Not fair to us and not fair to our new family member. Not to mention we didn't get home until 11pm and barely had tine for Piper to learn her surroundings and get comfortable before we had to put her in her crate for bed. This story doesn't even include the fact that we had to wait 2 extra weeks to get her because the person who sold her to us said we could get her a certain time an did not communicate that to the transport company. As you know, there is quite a fee to have the dog delivered to us and with that comes an expectation that it will be done correctly, professionally and be a good experience. None of that happened here.

Everything with puppy spot was great. The man that helped me get prince was super. The delivery people were great. The issue i have is with the people that raised Prince. I mean at 17 weeks he didnt even know his name. He doesn't act like anyone worked with him at all. That is not what the papers said. Anyway, because of that I probably would not go thru puppy spot to find a playmate for him. Also I think the dog is not going to be a mini aussiedoodle. I believe he will be bigger.

Some representatives were friendly, others not too much. Unfortunately i bought an item your company offered actually TWICE, I paid for MICROSHIP and registration, but Saturday when we pick the dog up wasn’t DONE. The breaded said “they dont offer that service”I’m talking about MICROSHIP AND REGISTRATION. I called couple times and the last representative (DANIEL)pretended to charge me the FULL AMOUNT JUST FOR REGISTRATION, THAT NEVER GOT EITHER. I bought MICROSHIP AND REGISTRATION FOR $116.16. Offering a service or package that you don’t give to the client at the moment we pick up the dog is a fraud.
