We had seen representatives of PuppySpot on Good Morning America several years ago and knew they were a reputable company. With so many puppy scams out there, we felt very safe working with them. While we were deciding on a puppy PuppySpot was very responsive to all our questions. Texts and phone calls were answered very quickly, and they even sent us additional pictures of the pups we were interested in. But, it seemed that once we made our choice and paid in full, the communication dropped off. We could rarely get anyone on the phone and our texts weren’t answered for more than a day. It was a very frustrating and scary 2-3 days, and at one point we wondered if we weren’t going to receive a puppy. As we only had one specific day that we could pickup our pup, it was even more concerning. We needed to make a hotel reservation because the trip was over 6 hours, and we had no idea where we would meet up. The day before we were to go, Stormi from PuppySpot answered when we called. She reassured us that everything was going to be fine. We had been given the wrong name of the town to meet in, so she checked and quickly got back to us with the exact place and time that the breeder would meet with us. Once we met the breeders, all of our fears were gone. Despite the frustration, we have a wonderful, lively and very loved puppy. He fits in with our family so well! After all is said and done, we’d recommend PuppySpot if you’re looking for a wonderful healthy puppy. You’ll be very happy!

The initial communication with the PuppySpot rep was terrific. Once the sale was completed is where PuppySpot needs to re-evaluate themselves. It would be extremely helpful to the customers to have some access to the breeders (through PuppySpot). Example: An ability to send a message directly to the breeder through the PuppySpot website, that provides some interaction but doesn’t allow the ability of the buyer and breeder to usurp the contract between PuppySpot and the breeder. It is much more comforting to the buyers. At times it felt as if this purchase was fraudulent due to the lack of communication and information that was provided. Also, an $800.00 transportation fee is quite steep and very weird to be the same whether the transport was by air or vehicle. Information regarding the puppies sire and dam should be made available to the buyer (especially when the puppy is advertised to be of Champion Bloodlines). The buyer should be provided the AKC information for them so an inquiry could be done through AKC. Overall the experience was good. Not sure I would use again because of the inability to have any contact with the breeder.

The personal concierge service from the 1st phone call was a great comfort to finding our puppy. The process was very thorough and was filled with excellent communication.

Heather is one of the sales managers I dealt with,she’s very knowledgeable, professional, personable and utmost professional. I’d highly recommend her to my friends who’re interested in getting a Corgi in the near future

The interaction with everyone was amazing. Everyone was professional and helpful. Jazzy Mae is a happy, healthy loving pup that is adapting well. I gave 4 stars because for some reason your company doesn’t ship to Alaska. Or even recognize Ak. For us Ak residents, that would be so much easier.

This was my third experience with puppy spot and I would say that the quality of customer care is getting worse- BUT my transporter Katherine was incredible AND my puppy Moonpie is absolute perfection. Insist on a contact liaison to work with during the waiting process otherwise you’ll spend hours on hold getting info.
