Puppy was bought at 11 weeks. Puppy arrived at 14 weeks. Was told by transport that he was over five pounds. He was 15.5 pounds. Breeder registered him and he was supposed to come with a clean bill of health. The puppy had the Giardia parasite. I also went back to PuppySpot at the time of arrival (it was three weeks after purchase) and saw that puppies the same age and breed were thousands of dollars less. I brought this up with PUPPYSPOT help team and their response was “you agree to the price when you bought him”. I will submit all extra veterinary bills caused by the parasite. At 14 weeks training is extremely difficult. He wasn’t at all housebroken and wouldn’t even use a wee wee pad. He’d just shred them up. Not what I expected for the ($6,000+) I paid to PuppySpot!

This should be a warning for all potential buyers. I would like to share that my experience was Not the best. 1) Lots of confusion around the puppy travel planning. Booked the chaperon flight, it was cancelled without even checking with me. I received the refund and No explanation. I have tried to get the explanation, as to why?? She is only 10 lbs. No explanation was provided. No-one bothered to return my call, and e-mail explanation provided was simply "change in planning" 2) I wasn't happy but agreed to go and pick up the puppy "near my location" which was an hour drive. People in communication delivering my puppy via ground transport. This team was responsive initially, but by the time of the pickup it was a disaster.I set on a parking lot for an hour waiting for them to respond to my text (instructions were Not to call, and only call for emergency. I was tired of waiting for them to respond and i called. They told me oh yeah we are parked by this place come and get it. 3) Picked up the pup, puppy was really smelly and scared. I was trying to brush it off since puppy traveled for 2 days in a van. 4) Go to my vet to do a wellness check, and we are trying to figure out what vaccines she has?? She is 6 months and should probably be fully vaccinated. Nope, wrong! We called the vet listed on the paperwork provided to me (4 pages). Vet refused to talk without the name, we found the name of the breeder. Vet told us, oh this breeder does vaccination and it is only rabies. I have to do all the vaccines needed apart from rabies vaccine. On top of that test showed Giardia!!! I have to give meds for 5 days and 2 weeks after additional 5 days and testing after. Puppy 6 months old and she doesn't know that it is OK to walk outside. Not sure where and how was she living before. Yes PuppySpot, you need to work on better communication. It seems to be that there were so much more activity prior to my payment, but once payment was made i felt neglected. Yes, I would recommend to be super careful working with this business. As to me, I will Not going to buy from this place again.

When we picked up the puppy, he was coved in urine and feces. His nose was running and he had a cough.He smelled horrible

It was impossible to get ahold of customer service. For such an expensive dog I felt ghosted by puppy spot & the team. The puppy management team was nonexistent, I barely could get my date changed for my pickup date until a few days before I was leaving on the airplane! Terrible terrible.

Bought a puppy from PuppySpot. Promised door to door delivery at time of purchase. Instead, had to drive hours to a location in the middle of nowhere at NIGHT. Also should note, after we received the paperwork from our PuppySpot puppy, we contacted the breeder and bought another puppy from the same litter directly from the breeder for 1/3 the cost of the heavily marked up PuppySpot pup. By the way, the breeder had her delivered to our front door!! Buy from a reputable breeder instead of PuppySCAM!!!

Everything, was wrong from the start! I was lied to on every occasion that I had a phone coversation. The emails went unanswered. Then, when you call them in the lies they say I misunderstood. When, the fact of the matter is, I had a witness so that there was no confusion! In my opinion, they should never be allowed to BROKER puppies. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON LIES

Horrible customer service and non responsive. If I could give a -10 I would.

We tried very hard to buy a puppy with puppy spot. They charged us with full guarantee that our puppy would be delivered to us. Then when we got the travel arrangements they were sending it to an airport over 5 hours away 1 way. When we called to fix what we thought must be an error, they told us that our local international Airport was not "animal friendly". I called our airport and the airline. I got flight numbers and everything puppy spot would need to get our dog to us. Again they told me the airport just wasn't "animal friendly". It turns out puppyspot just didn't want to pay more of their cut to get the dog to a smaller airport. I told them I didn't appreciate being straight lied to and could I receive a discount for driving 11 hours to pick up the dog. They locked us out of our account and refunded our money. This was less than a week before Christmas.
