My puppy came to me in horrible contition. His belly was so bloated it was hard as a rock and we were fearful to pick him up. He was very fearful and lethargic to say the least. I took him to the vet and hes under weight, has worms and needs to see an eye specialist as his pupils are not round at all. Hes very hand shy also.I would not recommend puppy spot because I feel as tho this company does not check out the breeders at all. Its all about the money and not about the puppy. My puppy's AKC papers were not even filled out by the breeder at all. Just not a happy customer at all. As of 7/24/23 my puppy also has Giardia which is highly contagious and now all my dogs are on medication. This has just been a horrible experience.

The puppy spot guarantee for a headache free delivery was anything but that. When dealing with customer service, there were no answers as to the delay of our puppies arrival. Our puppy was delayed 3 times for transport and by the time she did arrive, the puppy gifts that were given to us are almost to small for her to use. We will be needing to get new water/ food bowls since the amount she needs to eat already overflows with the one we got. When asked for them to call back with updates on our puppy and the delays we didn't recieve a call back twice and eventually got an email that said exactly what we were told over the phone. The only saving grace was when Erin V was able to help us out and answer some of our questions. In regard to the delays, she mentioned that the breeder didn't have any travel dates blocked off, but when she checked again, there was a note on the system about it that wasn't there before. What kind of breeder plans a vacation around the time that the puppies need to be sent to their new homes without having a plan to help get them there. With all the delays and issues, there was no reimbursement on their end or any compensation for the "guarantee" that they didn't even come close to standing by. We did get our puppy, and she is in good health. Do that as a relief overall, but we will not be using this service again on the future.

Unfortunately I am writing this review to give the worst rating possible. We received a very sick puppy from this organization. It became apparent that this is little more than a high priced puppy mill who has the customer side figured out. Our puppy arrived with a significant case of kennel cough. The organization never responded to inquiries to be reimbursed for $800 in vet bills. Finally, six months later, they stating they will give us $300. For an organization of this size, with the price tag they have, I expected SO much more. If I could give 0 stars I would. Please be wary of this organization. I recommend finding a reputable breeder that truly cares about their animals. Best of luck finding your new furry friend.

My beagle puppy was delayed coming home for 3 weeks due to my puppys ear having obtained a suspicious bite/puncture wound that got infected during transport. Details kept very vague. I was given only 300 dollar compensation due to the disfigurement. They did treat her wound with antibiotics, but now she will forever have an obvious gap on her ear due to not having stitches. When I received her yesterday I discovered a pressure wound on the joint of her leg. Please inspect your transportation team. A puppy should never ever have to go through this. Ridiculously upsetting.

Customer service was atrocious and cheap. After spending $4,000 on a puppy, you’d expect to get that quality of a service, but with PuppySpot you won’t. My puppy was delivered 1 MONTH after the original delivery date due to lack of communication within the company. They never did anything to correct this mistake. The only thing I was offered was a $300 refund for travel expenses (I paid $700 to get my puppy delivered 45 minutes away) which I never received. I reached out to them many times reminding them of the refund and they simply stopped replying after my dog was delivered. During the 2 months between paying and actually receiving my puppy, I only received 4 (of the same) update pictures. Most people are extremely excited when they buy a new puppy and would like to be kept up to date on how they are growing, but 1 set of pictures (again, all basically the same picture) over a period of 2 months is a joke. Overall there’s a clear lack of professionalism and responsibility within this company and I would never recommend it to anyone. There are other companies that provide the same service and would most definitely be a better experience. In my case, I would recommend going directly to the breeder and skipping this joke of an expensive middleman company.

Our new puppy has giardia and we were not informed until after we had the puppy home. Potentially exposing our other pets to this and while this is not a life threatening condition, it is a huge nuisance and expense. First off we never received medication with our puppy for it even though puppy spot was aware he had it before we received him.So he was at the vet within 48 hours for diarrhea issues everywhere and of course we had to get medication for all our pets after they were exposed. Second I had to argue to get more than 25 dollars back Complete hassle and waste of time. I would never recommend puppy spot to anyone looking for a new puppy.
