PUPPYSPOT GETS THEIR PUPPIES PUPPIES FROM PUPPY MILLS! I am a puppy owner who purchased my Havanese puppy at 14 weeks from PuppySpot. Normally I do thorough research on everything I purchase. I am sorry to say that I bought in to their “no puppy mill” guarantee. In retrospect, I should have been more concerned than I was when they refused to give me the name of the breeder that my puppy came from. I did receive this information upon our puppy’s arrival. The breeder is located in Topeka Indiana. I was able to track down information and came to know that the breeder had (at the time an article was written about puppy mills) 100 breeding dogs and 70 puppies. If that number does not suggest a puppy mill, I can’t imagine what does! Although I don’t know this for certain, I believe that Prestige pets ground transportation is not an independent operator but part of PuppySpot’s shady business. Our puppy’s arrival was delayed by a week and although the two men delivering him were nice enough, I’m guessing that their windowless massive van was full of puppies being delivered to their owners. The $700 fee charged for transporting them is unconscionable. I could have flown first class to Indiana and picked my puppy up for less than that. My advice: Do your research and buy directly from a reputable breeder!

Employees didn't communicate at all one of your employees called me a liar and was very hateful every time we called we got different stories and zero updates the puppy was dropped off by a couple that came a ross as !low life's! This is the third puppy we have bought from puppyspot and the last our opinion is your company has no quality control over its employees

Let customers know prior to purchasing that they might be required to travel up to 4 hours to retrieve pet. I was taken by surprise that I had to drive 3 hours to get my pup.

bunch of scammers...all lies...they ripped me off in several ways. 1. I was promised she was all one color no spots...that was a lie. 2. they promised she would be flown...she was driven 2000 miles

There is no follow up after purchase. No one answers the phone. Wait and wait. Start over each time on issues. No followup. None. Zero. No call backs. None. Zero .Almost got wrong dog. I told shipper. Never use again.

We were excited about receiving our new Westie and confirmed via text that we had received his travel plans and pick up spot. We did all of this while in Europe and a nine-hour time difference. Then we get voicemails overnight saying are travel plans have been canceled because we never confirmed and now we have to wait another week to receive our puppy. When I called this morning, I was told the text wasn’t received even though I have screen shots of it going through. I sent an email 3 days ago and no response. They don’t respond on their chat message. You talk to different people each time if you can get a hold of them so there is no puppy concierge as they advertise. I was told they would put in request for a supervisor to call which is probably the same as the email responses that never come. Once they have your $$$$, you get no updates and their response is non-existent. Right now going to insist on some sort of money back but will never use them again. I have a very disappointed son because we were excited about getting our puppy this week and Puppy Spot could care less — you just get their standard answer.

We got a puppy in 2021 from puppy spot and the experience was excellent so we came back to them for our second pup this month The experience was not nearly as positive The cost to travel was more than doubled and puppy was not delivered to me as the last I contacted PS via website email about a puppy and never heard back from that inquiry until I had already recalled and ordered pup . Puppy delivered Monday and has an ear infection requiring vet to order antibiotic today. Puppy was dehydrated and seems sedated Called and sent email w no reponse in 10 days now!
