I came home from inpatient treatment (for 10 days) and didn't have the delivery date correct (I hadn't communicated with my wife). I got an email from them regarding dropoff in 3 days. I replied "No, That dropoff has been cancelled". Note that at no time did I cancel our order. I get a call that night saying that not only has the order been canceled, but that there will be zero refund. They kept $2,700 and never delivered the puppy. Furthermore, I requested a phone call to discuss the situation over a dozen times. It's 3 days later and I have not yet received one phone call. My seven year old daughter is in tears. They have re-listed Zander for sale online. The puppy we paid full price for. The puppy that we confirmed (in writing) that we still wanted that very same evening. Nope. We'll take your $2,700 and never call you back. We're suing in small claims court, but never again will we use a heartless puppy mill. From now on it's working directly with honest reputable breeders only.

We were to pick our puppy up at 1:45 at the Rochester Home Depot, they finally showed up at 3:30 and there was no effort on anyone's part, but mine and another lady waiting to find out what was going on.

Had a horrific experience and would not recommend. We originally adopted one puppy, told them we were traveling and couldn’t take the dog before a certain date. Well they scheduled delivery of the dog during our unavailable dates. Got called while away on the unavailable date that the puppy now wasn’t weaning from mom and they recommend we look at another dog as she won’t be available for “weeks”. To say my children were devastated was an understatement. We found a different dog. Fast forward to week of delivery. Given travel arrangements and puppy was coming in 9/8. Spoke with PuppySpot several times to confirm process and times. Well Thursday 9/7, I’m checking the travel plans and it says the puppy has flow to first destination. How? The puppy was supposed to fly 9/8. Contacted by PuppySpot and was told that the puppy is staying in Charlotte as the temperature at our location is above the threshold. They promised me the puppy is coming 9/8 and not to worry. I received a call an hour later that the puppy is actually at its home location and I can either go get him or they’ll find him a hotel. I obviously went to get him. But I spent 3 hours back and forth on the phone while at work (I’m a nursing supervisor and it impacted my day) and then had to find coverage to go get puppy. It was beyond upsetting and stressful. Complete miscommunication and flat out lies. I was supposed to receive a call from a supervisor and never did. Absolutely disgusted with the lack of professionalism or care of our terrible experience. Still waiting for a response.

We ended up spending the entire day at the airport. Her plane didn't leave Chicago (ORD) until 5:45 PM rather than 8:45 AM as promised, so Lady didn't arrive in DTW until 7:20 PM and we couldn't get her until 8 PM. I am disabled with severe back problems and I spent most of the day in pain. We will never again get a pet that must be shipped by air.

We took delivery of our puppy on Thursday, 8/24. We drove an hour to meet the delivery men, Rusty and Ryan, at the designated spot. Because of a traffic delay due to 3 crashes, we were late, although we did call and text Rusty and Ryan to let them know about the traffic delay. When we arrived, one of the men got out of the van, literally shoved the puppy in my arms, gave a sealed Ziploc bag of food and what appeared to be a blanket to my husband, had us sign something and then jumped in their van and took off. The puppy was completely frightened and I would say somewhat lethargic if not shellshocked by the entire trip. We took him to our vet immediately. The puppy was and is extremely thin. Tomorrow, he will be 17 weeks old. A 17-week-old Berner should weigh between 35-45 pounds. He weighed in at 16 lbs. that day. It is my belief that Rusty and Ryan DID NOT feed him or give him water over the time it took from Ohio to Texas. The puppy was dehydrated and starving. Every single bone in his body was protruding. I was and continue to be truly saddened to by this. This isn't our first Bernese Mountain Dog. We have had 2 others that we purchased at 8-10 weeks old. I know what a healthy Berner is supposed to look like and the physical shape of our puppy is not normal. I am asking that someone reach out to myself or my husband to discuss this. I am questioning the breeder you got the puppy from and most certainly questioning the two delivery men and their actions with the puppy on the way down here.

Everything was great up until the day we received the puppy. He had a concerning medical issue that needed to be discussed. I’ve reached out three times and no one got back to me. That is just unacceptable. The “sale” was made and hands were wiped.

If I could put zero stars I would , I was sent a sick puppy with Giardia, the day I receive the puppy he was vomiting with diarrhea. I took him to the vet the next day and they did a parvo, giardia, and fecal, The fecal came back negative but the Giardia antigen came back positive , puppy spot stated because that the Giardia fecal was neg but the antigen was positive mean that my puppy does not have it,,,, this was wrong , my vet from Benified explained that Giardia antigen means that it is positive , I got a vet bill of 250, plus have to sepereate him from the house , this disease is contagious to humans too, and I have kids, he is on two medication, its frustrating because puppy spot did not help , please do more screenings on your pups before sending them, we spent 5k on a puppy we can barly interact with ,, im so disappointed and hurt and streess

We received a puppy that was not as advertised. The puppy was advertised as a 15 week 31/2 pound Maltipoo. When she arrived there was no crate; she as simply handed to us by the transporter. She was 15 weeks old & weighed 6/12 pounds. She also had not been taken very well cared for in the grooming department. She was dirty & her coat was irraditcally trimmed with hunks of hair cut shorter than the rest of her coat. Obviously this was the breeder’s fault, but the sad part was the way Puppyspot responded to the situation. They basically said there was nothing they could do as we had signed a no guarantee agreement. Obviously Puppyspot does not have any desire to follow up with their breeders to assure situations like this don’t happen. Buyer need be aware of this.
