I am very upset after my experience with Ashley. I asked for a new video of a puppy I was really interested in and she refused to get me one. I tried explaining to her that this was a very important decision to make based on pictures and videos that have been up for a week to a couple weeks, but she did not want to help me at all. I then asked if I could speak to someone else and she said this was the company’s “protocol” and suggested I go somewhere else. Very strange that I couldn’t just get an updated video of the dog, it shouldn’t be a problem.

NEVER buy from these people!! We got screwed so bad because we prepared for weeks for our baby and all of a sudden we can’t have it because of a leg issue. The worst place ever!! I would advise all to go somewhere else. They suck

Do not believe their Health Guarantee! They told me on his pre-shipment inspection he had a SMALL UNDERBITE. I specifically asked the rep if this was a COSMETIC issue or a MEDICAL issue, and she assured me it was a NON-MEDICAL, COSMETIC- ONLY issue. 10 days later, when I took him for his first vet visit, they immediately diagnosed him (later confirmed by an oral surgeon) that he had a SEVERE MALOCCLUSION which absolutely required surgical intervention to prevent long-term gum and teeth issues that were already causing trauma in his mouth due to the malocclusion. I told them this felt completely deceitful, and they said they would investigate. Called me about three weeks later to let me know that they would not give a penny toward this 3000 dollar plus surgery. They said I accepted the puppy after being told of the malocclusion (despite the fact that the person who called me at that time assured me that there was NO MEDICAL CONCERN). Dishonest from the start, and with their follow-through. I love my dog, and he is great now that he had the surgery, but beware of their insincere and untrue reports about pre-shipment health checks. They will NOT stand behind a puppy they sell you who has medical issues that need attention! Very disappointed in this. They will make you feel so good and reassured about your puppy during the whole process of you buying and confirming him, but after that, they will not support you, and their medical rep flat-out lied to me in that pre-shipment conversation. Get a puppy from them if you want, but do not think for a second they will be supportive of his health post-delivery in any way! (Their breeder also gave the puppy his shots too early (while still feeding from his mother), so they all had to be re-done).

Refused to reveal dog breeders name or location. This restricts a buyer's ability to avoid dog mills. AND they will not let you review a seller, so that a dog mill can be taken off the site. Seems they are working for the mills and not for the buyers.

When I called with a problem regarding my puppy, and requesting them to honor their healthy puppy guarantee, I received resistance, and the customer service person was not helpful and was rude. I would never buy from this company again. I’m reporting them to the appropriate agencies.

Very disappointed with this company. The puppy was presented to me with feces crusted paws. I bathed him twice due to how dirty he was. Day 4 of being with us was his first vet visit. Discovered he came to us with an ear infection, an unknown golf ball size lump on his head, and two intestinal parasites, giardia and cryptosporidium. Now he is on multiple medications and I am worried about the health of my family since his paws were covered in parasitic feces!! He was also sent without some of his health forms, and the wrong food. We will not be recommending this company after our experience!

I've purchased 2 puppies from Puppy Spot. The first experience was great. The second experience not so much. He was transported by van. When I picked him up he was not well, didn't even wag his tail. He wouldn't eat that day so I gave him Nutrical and took him to the vet the next day. He had a clean bill of health from the pre-transport vet check and no alarms from my vet but they sent me home with a vial to collect more stool if he didn't show improvement over the next few days. He didn't improve so I took him back and they sent off the stool sample to test for Giardia, a parasite that is not detected by the tests they can run in office. Turned out he had a severe case of Giardia. I've had him 4 weeks now and am on the second round of treatment. It took at least 2 weeks before he started acting like himself, and he hasn't had a solid poop yet. I had to be very careful so my other puppy wouldn't get it. And I myself somehow contracted it, suffering from severe abdominal pain and bloating for a week and a half (it self resolves most of the time in humans). Puppy Spot policy will reimburse for worms/parasite treatment if reported within the first 20 days. I was a few days late reporting this to them and I believe they are going to honor the policy, but it took 4 days for the puppy manager team to reply, and there was zero empathy for my experience. I don't know if my little boy picked up the parasite from the breeder or from the transport van, but it's concerning that the transport vans may not be sufficiently sanitized between trips. I'll provide an update on final resolution. But for now, I'm pretty disappointed. Also be aware if you select the AKC Reunite Enrollment option (microchip service, $49 when I ordered), you will be spam called by a 3rd party to help you register your puppy. They will tell you that you have to register your puppy with the AKC for another fee to transfer ownership from the breeder or you run the risk of an ownership dispute in the future should the dog be lost and found. The fee was $60 this time but with my first puppy it was over $100 and it's not breed-specific. When you ask what you already paid for they give incredibly confusing answers, intentionally I believe. I did my research and found articles on it. They are simply trying to get more money out of you. They will send you cheap dog tags for free if you want them. Otherwise don't waste your time talking to them. You will receive a link from AKC Reunite where you register your puppy on your own, and you are listed as the owner automatically. Also, you receive a physical transfer of ownership form showing you as the owner in your paperwork when you receive the puppy.

Really bad experience. I made a decision to get a puppy of according to the description and date of birth was 8 weeks and then 1-2 weeks for travel prep puppy was supposed to be 9-10 weeks. Puppy arrived and it seems big to her age, as per checking AKC paper work her date of birth was off 20 days difference 3 weeks total. I contacted puppy spot and adv puppy seems to be big size and even characteristics too big for breed. I also noticed that older puppies are less expensive. But I was told that just for that inconvenience of wrong dob $300 dll credit. I believed is un acceptable to have this mistakes and plus no other solutions for me to choose. is like I paid for something that someone else make choice for me. very disappointed with this business.
