I liked the fact I received an amazing beautiful and smart puppy that had already started the potty training process. I don't like the fact you don't get any information on when and where your puppy will be picked up at. Which makes it inconvenience for the working community. I also don't like once you paid you only get the voice-mail and the app pics and chooses which questions they want to answer. I suggest if you have any questions to write them all down and ask before you purchase.

It was really hard to reach the company but after I have it was good.

They do not disclose breeder info until puppy arrives which seems a bit sketchy.they also lied about puppy being crate trained as breeder said she wasn’t. I’m also skeptical of the size they reported since I wanted a small one and she came to me double weight a month later so don’t trust this either.

The puppy is wonderful! Other than that, I had some difficulty reaching Puppy Spot (wait period to hold on for an agent was in excess of one hour) and there was confusion as to what flight he would be on. Also, I expected someone to reach out to me sooner to see if all was ok on my end and no one ever did until this survey.

Puppy Spot was very attentive until we paid for our puppy. We were told that the breeder would send progress photos every 2 weeks which they never did even after requesting it several times. We got our new puppy at 10:30 at night and took him to the vet the next day for his first check up. My new vet called to tell me that he had Giardia, an intestinal parasite, and would have to be placed on several medications for a week which was very difficult to administer. I contacted Puppy Spot to let them know so they could pass this on to the breeder so they could make sure any other puppies they had were not sick. I never heard back from them. We were assured that our new puppy had been checked out by a vet before his flight to us. We received a vet certificate when we picked him up but it seems that a vet would have caught this. We were very disappointed that we didn’t at least get a call or email back from them acknowledging receipt of my email.

Let me start by saying PuppySpot helped us get a wonderful puppy. I think the breeder was wonderful and my puppy was well taken care of until we received her. But, I will most likely not use PuppySpot in the future. They were very helpful and attentive in helping us find our puppy. However, once we paid for her, we had the hardest time communicating with PuppySpot. The chat feature on the app never worked. We would have to email multiple times to get an answer. When we called, they were kind and tried to be helpful. However, it would still take more than one call to resolve our question(s). The day before we picked up our pup we found out about a questionable situation about the puppies health and PuppySpot was helpful and was willing to find us another puppy if we weren't happy. I am confident that PuppySpot has employees that love pups and want to connect clients with healthy puppies. It may be a situation of being short staffed or overwhelmed. But, trying to communicate with them was frustrating. All that said, we have a great, healthy and sweet puppy and are already so in love with her.

Overall I was happy with the Puppy Spot experience. A few things could have been done better to enhance my customer journey. 1) App not always working 2) More information from the breeder to include puppies current living environment On a good note my puppy arrived via American Airlines healthy, safe and sound.

Our puppy is amazing. That is a plus. For me the 3 star rating is for the PuppySpot experience as a whole. Seems like personnel is understaffed and overworked. Maybe it should be expected if everyone was trying to purchase a puppy for the holidays. I often didn’t receive answers on questions in a timely manner, one time waiting a week with 3 separate emails before finally I just picked up the phone and called. The gentleman I spoke with on the phone before purchasing was fantastic, but looking back now I feel he was so good because he was trying to make a sale. Once we submitted payment the contact was minimal. We paid $700 for a “flight” to nearby airport, that ended up being a van delivery. Had I known my pup would be in vehicle transport for over 12 hours, perhaps I would have made other arrangements. If my pup wasn’t just about perfect, which he is, this could easily be a 1 star rating.
