We are very disappointed in PuppySpot. We received our Great Dane puppy at 3 months with diarrhea . We did take the dog in for a check up once received however in the 3rd week of ownership our puppy needed to be hospitalized for running a fever and the diarrhea. Our bill was over $2000 and puppyspot is taking no responsibility for the puppy arriving ill. Our puppy apparently has traveled for 22 hours to get to our location in a van with other dogs and mush have caught some type of bacteria. Unfortunately our dog insurance we have has a 30 day wait period so nothing was covered. We are pleased the puppy is doing well today however after you pay a lot of money for the dog you would expect it to be healthy. Buyer beware is all we can say. Our experience with the company was very poor!!

We were looking for a Bernedoodle…
We were looking for a Bernedoodle puppy. After selecting a few on Puppyspot, I called their number only to find out where those particular dogs were located, as we want to see and meet a puppy before we buy it. Paul at Puppyspot, after spending way too much time telling me how good they are and repeating the exact same info listed on the website, eventually told me the puppy was in Ohio. I told him that we live in San Diego and Ohio is out of our search area. He immediately told me that there are no Bernedoodles in California. After I informed him that was not true and that we had already looked at 5 puppies here, he switched gears and told me the breeders in California were no good. So we will not go through Puppyspot again. I'm sure that puppies listed on Puppyspot are fine, but the evasive customer service is a huge turnoff.

On February 3
On February 3, 2024, I was sold a puppy with the promise that the near-home delivery would be in Phoenix. Then I was informed that I had to drive to Flagstaff Airport to pick up the puppy which is 2 hours away from Phoenix, with road construction from Phoenix to Flagstaff and 4 feet of snow in Flagstaff. These are dangerous and unsafe driving conditions. I was upset about this but forced to do it. From the beginning, calling Puppy Spot is impossible. The line rings and rings and then hangs up automatically. The Puppy Spot website won't allow me to log in as it refuses my password and then the submit button doesn't function. I asked to speak with a supervisor when someone finally called me. The supervisor was very helpful with sending directions to the Flagstaff Airport but she resorted to emails and I really needed to talk to a live person. She sent me an email with a heading 'Do not use' and I was very confused. I spent hours trying to find someone who could help me. Only one person was apologetic. I have had two wonderful experiences getting puppies with Puppy Spot in the past. This experience was difficult and very challenging and I won't ever get another puppy from this company unless it has easy access to real people to help the customer.

Was attempting to purchase a pup and kept getting ignored while waiting for the paperwork. After a week I get an email to call a number but find out they just sold the pup from under me. I have two pups I purchased from them and now get treated like this!

Disappointing Experience and Poor Post-Purchase Support
I recently purchased a puppy through PuppySpot, attracted by their promises of a seamless experience and a healthy, happy puppy. Unfortunately, my experience has been far from satisfactory, highlighting serious concerns about their health guarantees and customer service responsiveness.
After completing the payment, I noticed a significant delay in communication from PuppySpot. It took approximately 3 weeks for our puppy to arrive. The company assures customers that each puppy undergoes a comprehensive health check prior to travel. However, upon arrival, it was immediately clear that our puppy was not in good health. He was diagnosed with an upper respiratory infection and two different types of parasites. Our veterinarian was emphatic that in his condition, the puppy should not have been cleared to travel. Treatment required five different medications and an x-ray to rule out pneumonia.
I reached out to PuppySpot multiple times regarding this issue. After several attempts, someone finally responded, offering to reimburse a portion of the medication costs but nothing more. This response was inadequate, considering the severity of the situation and the ongoing health issues our puppy is facing, which necessitate further medication and care.
More distressing, the paperwork provided with our puppy contained vaccination dates, one of which was listed before the puppy's date of birth. This discrepancy raises serious questions about the accuracy and reliability of the health information provided.
My attempts to contact PuppySpot for clarification and assistance have been met with silence. This lack of response undermines their commitment to standing behind their health guarantee and supporting new pet owners through what should be a joyful time.
This experience has been both emotionally and financially taxing. I urge PuppySpot to reconsider their health checks, communication, and support processes to ensure no other family experiences the distress we have faced. Prospective buyers should proceed with caution and consider the potential risks and challenges in dealing with PuppySpot.

Steer clear!!
Steer clear!!
Did more research and unfortunately found out their practices aren’t what they seem! Changed my mind less than 24 hours for a pup that wasn’t even available until the next month and they are trying to keep over $1200 of my money for “admin” reasons. Then when I called to cancel my call kept getting sent to voicemail until I called from my husbands and sons phone!!! Any company that just ships off a brand new puppy isn’t it!!

Poorly run organization
Sales person Madison was great, but Follow up to arrange the puppy transport and everything else not so great. Too many different people responsible for the same customer. Very unorganized company, no live inbound customer support after I paid almost 4,000 for the puppy. Made excuses, did not accurately record my transporter details until the day before pick up. Did not confirm transport details until the day before we were scheduled to pick up our puppy. Too reliant on email communications. We had to contact them last minute as they failed to contact us as promised with breeder contact information which caused a lot of unnecessary anxiety. They didn’t provide the breeder contact information until day before pick up even though I had already paid for our puppy. The breeder was non responsive during the process. They created alot of stress for something that should have been joyful experience: I literally thought this was a scam and they had stolen my 4,000 dollars until my transporter actually l picked up the puppy.
