The suggested delivery method and location was never discussed with me. The dog had to travel more than 36 hours in a van and then another three hours after I picked him up, was quite stressful on him and me if I would’ve been part of the process we probably could have Made other other arrangements that would’ve been less stressful for the dog and much more convenient for me.

Pluses and Minuses
While the people I spoke with were knowledgeable, patient and happy to help and the drivers, friendly, helpful, and timely, we do feel the website needs work. Even though it has great info., I was not able to get on for over a week; and communicating using the chat option was impossible.
Also, while our puppy is a sweetheart and appears to be in good health, she is not the color pictured and she does have an under bite which we were not made aware of. Plus, we are now told that, unless we buy insurance, your promises to cover various issues are no longer the case.

Sales concierge tells me one thing
Sales concierge tells me one thing, so then when it is the day before the puppy to be here, I find out the puppy is much larger. Talk to service department basically told tough. Still don’t know if the puppy has been micro chipped no information in his paperwork do not have rabies tag was not with His things.

Had good interchanges with Erin and the…
Had good interchanges with person one and the woman who first sold me the dog - can’t remember her name. Not so much with person two. She was the only one of the three who couldn’t take my credit card info over the phone. Sent me an email to provide the info via a link and it never went through. Why can two people take the credit card info over the phone and the third cannot?
I had to ask three times to have the “puppy pack” cancelled before it was finally done and a receipt issued.
Was told to get the Puppyspot app which I did, then was having trouble with it. When I called, I was told that it wasn’t working properly and to delete the app, which I did.
Was never given any info regarding the breeder and no one ever questioned me to see what type of home I would provide.
My puppy arrived via chaperone. She was a delight to work with and did a superb job.
My pup is a joy and I love her to death. Papers from her vet in Ohio show she has an umbilical hernia which can be corrected at time of spay. If this additional procedure increases the cost of the spay, I will be contacting you to fulfill your “well puppy health guarantee.” Of course, these papers were completed by the vet at the time of her final vet check on 5-17-23. I was never notified that there was a problem, was told her weight and that she was in perfect health.
To top it off, I was advised to purchase Royal Canin puppy kibble. I did so immediately so it would be sure to be here on time. When I received the pup, she was accompanied by a fairly small zip lock bag of kibble with a handmade label which said “Nutrisource “. I called Puppyspot that day, but they were closed. I called the next day as soon as they opened so I could get further information on which variety of Nutrisource to purchase. I have since called 3 more days to obtain this information as I needed to order the correct food as it is not prudent to make an abrupt change. As of the 4th day, the remaining food in the zip lock bag is almost gone. Puppyspot cannot get in touch with the breeder, gave me incorrect information as to which food to buy originally and has left me at the point of having to make an abrupt change in the pup’s food. Even if I chose one of the varieties of the Nutrisource small/medium breed puppy food (there are two options) I could not get it in a timely manner as it’s not carried by Chewy, Petco, or Petsmart. It’s carried by Amazon, but the delivery is 10 days, even for a prime customer.
You need to do a better job of communicating with your breeders and your CUSTOMERS!!

The date I actually picked my puppy up…
The date I actually picked my puppy up was 17 May. As I have said before, I was very unhappy with the pick up experience. I was led to believe by the person that arranged the sale of my puppy, that it would either be delivered to me directly or very close to me. I assumed I wouldn’t have to go much further than about 50 miles. And I requested ground transportation and was led to believe that is exactly what would happen. I did not want my puppy in an airplane. As it turns out I had to drive 166 miles to pick him up. Following the sale , there was a lack of communication from the puppy manager Until they notified me of where I had to go to pick him up. I was willing to pay the extra 200 to change the arrangement and was told it couldn’t be changed. I would advise future PuppySpot buyers to have a written contract as far as the delivery process. With that being said, I am extremely pleased with my puppy.

Good, but could use more background info
The overall process was good and easy. However I didnt feel like i got that much information on my puppy. I didnt get breeder information until he arrived and they only would give me a phone number for the pet travel company. It just felt a bit sketchy. Also I would have liked some sort of "guide" or "intro" to my dog.
He is this... he has been house broken (or not) ... he like to play fetch ... etc etc.
My pup is awesome and wonderful. I dont regret my purchase at all – but really wish more information was provided so I could understand more of his over all context

Getting our puppy went nice and fast…
We got our puppy pretty quickly! That was great! Unfortunately I wish they would let you speak with the breeder after u actually pay for the puppy bc I had a few questions but that's not allowed. Then I pick her up from the airport and her eye is swollen and gunked shut. So immediately took her to the vet bc she was clearly in pain and turns out her eye has a laceration and infection!! Which vet said had to have been like that for several days before flight. So if I would change anything it would be that breeders need to speak with us after purchase especially for any questions or concerns. I had no clue if my puppy had a microchip or if her dew claws were removed...and so much more I wanted to ask. So now I finally have their info so I'm hoping they will be able to give me some answers to the questions I have. I'm in love with this little girl already after only 3 days! So I'm grateful for puppyspot and bringing me together with my new puppy child!

Dog was great, service not so much....
We were happy to find a dog that was available and just what we were looking for. We were dissatisfied with communication (the travel arrangements kept changing and we had to keep calling the company to clarify, which proved very frustrating). Also our puppy arrived covered in urine and feces, which made us worried about her travel arrangements.
