Service does NOT match the price tag!
Very little communication regarding our new puppy.through the whole process. “Pupdates” were all sales based with no specifics about our puppy, making it harder to prepare. Medical records were incomplete. Breeder administered all shots leaving out dates given. The only vet documentation was a Rabies tag & cert. We were told she would have something with the sent of her mother and got nothing. Door to door delivery gets your puppy a zero touch van ride with 16 other dogs.Puppy was brought to the door covered in feces & very obvious about tip expectation
*Edited to add* Your company did reach out after submitted review. We did connect.

I chose PuppySpot because I believed…
I chose PuppySpot because I believed they were a reputable company that stood behind the health of the puppies they sell. Unfortunately, my experience was devastating.
I brought my puppy home, and he died from a highly contagious disease within 24 hours. Losing him was heartbreaking. What made the situation even more difficult was the way my claim was handled afterward.
Although PuppySpot has offered to refund the purchase price, they have refused to reimburse the veterinary testing they required to process the claim and have declined to refund the sales tax I paid. In addition, I lost the money spent on travel to bring my puppy home and had to throw away all of the puppy’s supplies because of the contagious nature of the disease.
The financial losses have been significant, but they are nothing compared to the emotional trauma of losing a puppy so quickly. I expected compassion, accountability, and support from a company with PuppySpot’s reputation. Instead, I was left feeling disappointed by how this situation was handled.

genetic issues not screened
Puppy spot pulled at my heartstrings 3 times and I have been utterly crushed. I got three puppies from them in the timespan of 5 years. Sadly, two of the dogs had major health issues that I did not know about until I had gotten all three dogs. I was told these dogs had been checked genetically and now I find that my poodle has a devastating genetic issue. One dog died at the young age of 8. One dog was supposed to be from the same parents yet he looks nothing like a golden doodle but a poodle. And then the standard poodle i have now has a rare genetic skin disease-that is eating away his oil glands after having been told he had a genetic condition that makes his knees fragile as well - I am so sad and disappointed that I ever recommended this service to my friend who got the standard poodle. Get the insurance if you get a dog from them- I did not and am now strapped financially and emotionally for myself and my friend.

broken promises by upper management
unfortunately lower as well as upper management did not follow through on promises made due to health complications on my puppy. in addition we were promised "hands on "communication from mr. rony agenor who "disappeared" despite numerous emails. this is now in the hands of our counsel. that being said, the puppy couldnt be more adorable and loving.

PuppySpot delivered a sick dog to my…
PuppySpot delivered a sick dog to my doorstep. I paid over a thousand dollars for this delivery. I took him to the vet, submitted the vet receipt for re-imbursement and was given less than half of the vet bill. No compensation for the sick dog, the mental anguish, the expensive delivery. Nothing. Do not use this service. My puppy was sick and underweight when he was delivered.

WE RECEIVED A SICK DOG AND IT'S GOING ON 2 MONTHS SICE WE RECEIVED HIM
Horrible Experience so far!
We have also asked you to change his name from Hayes to Ponzu. That hasn't been done. According to the AKC, the microchip number you've given us is incorrect, as we can't get it to work. It looks like we're going to have to go the legal route, as there is no way you or your team didn't know about Ponzu's health issues, which are closing in on $1,000 for us.
Sick right from the time he was dropped off. Ponzu was delivered in a truck much like an Amazon truck. We asked to see the inside of the truck, and the driver told us that was illegal for us to look, which we found surprising. Followed up on that and were told that seeing inside the truck is not illegal. Once we got Ponzu into our home, he started coughing and snorting, and he has done so constantly since he arrived on 07/09/2026, which is almost 6 weeks now. We've taken him to the Vet 3 times now, and they have given him multiple medications that haven't solved the problem. We love this little puppy, as he does have a great personality, but with what's going on and no answers from the Vet, we are worried. We did purchase puppy insurance prior to getting him, which Puppyspot requires, and we are glad we did in this case, but we are very upset that Puppyspot would send out an already sick puppy. We questioned whether to buy this puppy from an online seller, but my wife is in her late 70s, and I am in my early 80s, so it was the easiest and most convenient option. I definitely wouldn't buy a dog this way again and certainly wouldn't recommend Puppyspot, especially after our problems with Ponzu and the lack of help from Puppyspot. The above problem is the major one, but we've had many other problems that are not mentioned here. Here it is 2 months later after writing the first part of this complaint and our dog with the same problems and getting worse. We're having to spend more money according to the Vet to find out why he is hacking and spitting up yellow green flem! For all we know this puppy could up and die and we can't get answers.
Caution when dealing with PuppySpot!

PuppySpot doubles the price of the…
PuppySpot doubles the price of the puppies that the breeder list them at to profit. Get the name of the breeder and google search their kennel yourself. You will find the breeder and the same exact puppy will be so much less and most of the breeders can set up transportation at a much lower cost. Do NOT purchase a puppy through PuppySpot. They are a complete scam. I know this because I worked for them for years. They have no idea how to run a company and after you spend thousands on the puppy it’s nearly impossible to get ahold of a person. Please trust me and do not support this company.
