Big sell, extremely poor communication. Unhelpful after they were paid.

Thank you for posting. As hard as it is to hear less than positive remarks, it's critical to our ability to constantly improve our puppy adoption experience. We have heard from other customers that travel protocols and communications are simply not good enough. We have assembled a cross department team to work on revamping them so that customers never feel put upon or frustrated. I hope you will consider PuppySpot in the future and give us a chance to prove that we really do deliver perfect puppies in the perfect way.

This is a second post you’ll see why momentarily
We had the dog to the vet first thing and come to find out the puppy has gardia a parasite and somehow passed his vet check when he can’t pass ours I’m super displeased now I have to worry about the rest of my animals getting the same thing. Be careful folks I still have to spend money to fix their mess up could’ve been prevented by proper steps which were clearly not effective!!!
We have asked for payment and they still won’t pay up for the bills or the other animals they infected as well don’t purchase a dog from these ppl save yourself the time and money!!!

Thanks for posting, sorry to hear about your puppy arriving with a parasite. Sadly giardia is a common occurence, not always detectable during the pre-delivery vet exam. We can confirm that your puppy receieved a full health check via a licensed veteranarian prior to delivery. We hope your puppy has recovered and recommend that you request reimbursement for applicable vet charges per our 10 year Health Commitment. Please contact us at 866-306-6064 if we can help you apply. Thank you for your feedback and your understanding.

Dishonorable
I recently came across this website, was appalled to what I found. It's disheartening to see people who claim to care for animals, particularly puppies, charging exorbitant prices for them. It feels akin to a form of exploitation, profiting on beings who cannot advocate for themselves. The fact that some individuals are making significant profit at the expenses of innocent dogs is deeply troubling. This practice is not only disrespectful to the animal but also reflects poorly on a society that permits such exploitation to occur behind closed doors.

Poor customer service
We have been disappointed with the service we received from PuppySpot. We purchased a pet from them 10 years ago and the experience was wonderful. However, this experience was not good. The puppy we ordered came dirty and smelly. She was traumatized by being in a crate for 3 days. We thought she was deaf as she did not respond to any sounds at all. We feel the breeder kept her isolated and did not have any interaction so she did not respond to claps, keys, sirens, etc. She came without her shots up to date so we had to have these done right away and fortunately PuppySpot reimbursed us for the shots but not the vet. We cannot contact anyone there as it is a call center and had to leave many messages to get any kind of response. Took us over 3 weeks to get everything settled with our puppy. I would not recommend this company as they are not professional and their communication is poor..

We are so, so sorry to hear that your recent experience with us was so different from your first time. Our mission is to help people find their perfect puppy and to deliver a step by step experience that is 100% stress-free for the customer and the puppy. Clearly we failed you and your puppy on multiple fronts. Instead of making excuses please know that we have assembled a cross-functional team, including your puppy's breeder, to look at every mishap. We will also take a hard look at our communications with you and your ability to reach us. Fundamentally every issue you experienced is the opposite of the standards we have set. So clearly we have work to do. We hope to have the chance one day to prove to you that we listened and are worthy of your business.

It took five weeks to get my puppy
I ordered a 10 week old puppy and was told that I should have her within 2-3 weeks. I asked if I could just come pick her up so that I could get her quicker, but I was convinced that the better option was to have her delivered to me. It took them 14 days to first contact me about when they would be delivering her, and I had to call them twice to ask about it, They finally scheduled a delivery date and the next day called and canceled it because they said the breeder was out of town for the next two weeks and was unable to have her shipped. Supposedly, there was a note on the account that she could not be shipped between those two weeks. If that was the case, I don’t understand why they didn’t make sure she was shipped before that time. I called puppy spot and was told they would let me know something by the end of the day. Heard nothing so called back the next day and got no answers. The next time I try to call back, it just kept going to a voicemail saying that they were closed. This was all day. Finally, I called from my daughter’s phone, I got through and was able to talk to someone.( That was a little odd). I did eventually talk to a lady probably four days later and was able to schedule a new delivery date, which was now 5 weeks after I ordered the Puppy. I also asked for updated pictures, never got them. And was also super inconvenienced because I was out of town during the delivery date and had to get my father to take off work to go pick her up or I would’ve had to wait a whole other week to get her. The whole process was really frustrating, and upsetting being that this was supposed to have been a birthday present for my son. I can say that I absolutely adore the Puppy and that the last lady I talked to (Wish I could remember her name) Was very nice and called back when she said she would and did all that she could do to help me. If it hadn’t been for her, I probably would have tried to get my money back. I honestly thought I was being scammed out of $4,500. Overall, I just feel that when you’re spending that kind of money you should be treated A little better and that they should try to get your puppy to you as soon as possible. I feel that I should not have had to keep calling them and begging them to get my puppy to me. This should’ve been a fun and exciting process, not of disappointment and panic.

We have used Puppy Spot in the past and had great results. Unfortunately this time was not a good experience. The puppy we bought was very sick when it arrived and it took me almost 3 months to get it healthy. It was so sick that the vet said we could consider it a rescue. When we contacted Puppy Spot to warn them about the breeder there seemed to be no concern on their part. I did a bit of research on the breeder since the name was on the shipping docs...it was a mill. The breeder has over 100 dogs and many bad reviews if you check the web. It is unfortunate that Puppy Spot has gone down this path; I will not use them again
