CR - We are disappointed to learn that you have such a negative view of your PuppySpot experience. We never want any member of our community to have difficulty getting in touch with our team and we're truly sorry to learn that may have been the case for you at any point in your experience. It's also important to note that PuppySpot's $199 flat-rate travel fee covers more than just the cost of your breeder to meet you at the pick-up location, it also includes your puppy's regulation-sized travel carrier and health certificate required for your pup's safety. Again, we are transparent with and what the cost entails, however we do sincerely apologize if it wasn’t as clear at any point. Your relationship with us began when we matched you with your puppy and we remain committed to nurturing our relationship throughout your puppy parent journey.

It's important to us, not only because we take our role seriously and want you to have the best experience possible, but also because it gives us a chance to learn and improve. Our mission is to place healthy puppies into happy homes and to make finding a puppy a joyful and stress-free experience. We handle all the research and often time-consuming logistics for you so that you can focus on what truly matters: welcoming home your puppy. While there are certainly less expensive ways to find a furry family member, we work hard to be the best option. We understand how anxious you must have been for updates on your puppy. As soon as we received your requests for photos of your puppy, a member of our team immediately reached out to your puppy’s breeder each time and shared sets of adorable photos and videos of your puppy with you. Sometimes breeders are busy with their little ones and can take a moment to get back to us and we apologize if the turnaround was not as timely as you expected. That said, we are thrilled to know that your puppy is thriving in his new forever home. Congratulations on your beautiful pup again, please do not hesitate to reach out if there’s anything you ever need!

David - PuppySpot does not, and will never, work with puppy mills and has a zero-tolerance policy for substandard breeding practices of any kind. In addition to our comprehensive proprietary screening process that all members of our breeder community must pass (which results in acceptance of fewer than 10% of applicants), we stay in regular contact with our breeder community and have members of our Breeder Compliance team in the field every week of the year. The health and well-being of our puppies is always our TOP priority, which is why we were so troubled to learn that your puppy hasn't been feeling well. You were right to let us know as soon as you thought there was an issue and a member of our health team was quick to reach out to learn more, see how we could help, and have been working closely with you since. PuppySpot is a community and we’ll continue to be here with you until all concerns are resolved and most importantly, your puppy is feeling well.

We understand your frustration from your puppy's travel changes but, just as with humans, puppies’ flights can be delayed or canceled for a variety of different reasons, like weather conditions, as was the case with your puppy. As soon as your preferred airport notified us of the cancelation due to extreme heat, which made it unsafe for your puppy to travel, our team quickly reached out to let you know and check availability at the nearest airport. Though it may not be the desired airport, we assure you it was a decision made with careful consideration and your puppy’s best interest in mind. The health and well-being of our puppies is our top priority, which is why we were concerned to learn that your puppy wasn't feeling well. A member of our team has been trying to reach you to learn more and most importantly see how we can help. Unfortunately, we have not been able to reach you. We hope to speak with you very soon.
