Received sick puppy requiring emergency medical care. I advised PuppySpot that the $477.00 bill is their bill. They said they would get back to me..I have not heard a word from them since. I am sorely disappointed in this business. I, therefore, will take whatever steps necessary to not only get my money but to advise as many folks as possible about their practices. Kennel cough is a very serious infection and this little puppy could have died. Sad way to do business.

Sent us a sick puppy and then didn't want to help with the vet bills or anything it was a constant fuss back and forth on the phone trying to get them to do what they supposed to do

First and foremost we are very lucky to have our little puppy to enjoy! She arrived with low energy and was diagnosed with parvo and spent 7 nights in the vet hospital. The Puppyspot health guarantee determined that we were only reimbursed for part of the cost of treatment even though our vet is 100% certain she arrived with it because of the incubation period. Communication with puppyspot is difficult and cluncky. I did not feel they provided us with detailed information about the puppy including prior info on vaccinations, vet treatment and breeder info as well as how to prepare for pickup.

I purchased my third Maltese from you. It took several arrangements for her transport to me due to bad weather, the length of the flight and her being too small. After canceling all of them you were to transport her with a chaperone. I was told it would be another two days but that wasn’t true. After not hearing from anyone I called and was told it would take at least two weeks. I asked to have a manager contact me. In the meantime I spent $700 to fly to the breeder and pick her up. Terrible, puppy manager supposed to call us 24-48 hours before arrival of the puppy. No one reaching out, and flight information was bad, did not show where he flu in from only show the destination and fly number. We tried to reached out before the puppy arrived and I was on hold for 30 minutes

We have didn't receive the vet exam from PuppySpot showing that the puppy had a Redundant Vulva until after we had received her. . We were very disappointed to see this on her vet paperwork. We had asked multiple times for her vet paperwork PRIOR to receiving her, but never got it. The breeder stated she had sent paperwork to PuppySpot days prior to puppy being shipped. We only got her paperwork when she arrived, attached to her kennel. At this time the vet didn't see any issues as a result of the redundant vulva, but did advise us that it could cause problems in the future and may need to be surgically corrected in that case. We feel that this information was purposely withheld by PuppySpot before shipping the puppy. At a $2,000 cost for the puppy, we would expect to receive a puppy with zero defects or at least be made aware and given the choice whether or not to move forward with the purchase of her. We also did not even have her flight paperwork from PuppySpot until 2.5 hours before she arrived and we were the ones who had to keep calling to be sure we had it to pick her up. (her second scheduled arrival btw) The puppy was only a 2 hour plane ride from us, yet she was put on plane in the morning and we were not able to receive her until 9:30pm. The vet did mention at her size and age, this could have been fatal for her. PuppySpot may want to consider better communication/disclosure/transportation. To put a live animal at risk of illness or death to save a few bucks is really disgusting. We would never consider purchasing a puppy from PuppySpot again.

I wasn’t able to talk to my manager when I called. Always had to leave a message. Giving only 2 days to schedule a healthy pet visit is bad! Every vet I contacted couldn’t complete it for a least a week! Sales person was nice and could always contact her.

That said, we want to make sure you're happy, too, and we're disappointed to learn your experience with our team did not meet your expectations or our own standards for that matter. Even though we require all new puppy parents have their little one checked by a licensed veterinarian two days after arriving to their new home, we understand that there may be some circumstances where that timeline can not be met and we are willing to accept your vet's documentation when the exam has been completed. Our intention is never to cause a new puppy parent any stress but to ensure the health and well-being of your new furry family member. Our relationship began, it did not end, when we placed one of our puppies in your home, so please don't hesitate to reach out if there's anything you ever need.
