Very stressful experience getting my pup. I spent $4800 (my mistake for not going directly to a breeder) for my baby. I thought I would get him at 8 weeks via aircraft but no, they couldn't tell me when I would get him. He was ready to come home in early Oct. While I am waiting I was distraught, where was he? could I go get him? Is he being socialized? I got him at 16 weeks! They took valuable bonding and training time from me. But the worst part is that they put him in some kind of cargo van, in a cage, with a pee pad for 4 days. He is traumatized by vehicles, timid and scared of everything. We will get through it, took a trip to the snow this weekend, he had a good time except during the hour ride where he shook in fear. Go directly to a breeder, don't be inpatient like I was. Puppy Spot is a legit business and they do have people that care but their operating model needs improvement. My pup is beautiful and the love of my life.

Initial sales experience and web site is awesome, but once they have your money it’s quite challenging to communicate and ask questions. Had to use the app. Web site communication not working. Frequent delayed call backs or returned messages just to ask a question. Travel arrangements were set up so that I would receive communication along the way. My dog traveled for 3 days to get to me. I got no communication and no 4hr heads up call on the way as promised. What I did get was a call saying we’re 15 min away & a day early. Not Puppy Spot’s fault, but their contracted 3rd party. My dog is adorable, but don’t think I’d use them again. Price gouging during pandemic too. I love my dog, and she’s healthy, so that’s most important. But the customer service experience doesn’t match the price I paid.

The fellow who sold me the pup was quite good until you got my money. Then, I was in the past. The app is awful and no one ever responded to my trying to communicate thru it. In non-Covid times, I would not recommend puppyspot -so clean up while you can.

We had been trying to get a puppy from individual breeders for months without success. We finally decided to go with puppyspot. The price is obviously 3-4 times more, however, they brought our puppy to our door, which was great! Our puppy has brought so much joy to our family. Now for the negatives, Puppyspot says their puppies are healthy. I have been to the vet already six times since the puppy arrived. Found out he has mites, and really bad yeast infection in his ears. Has been on ear drops for weeks and the infection still has not completely cleared. Then, the poop sample showed giardia. We are now treating him for that. We have spent close to a $1000 on vet bills in 3 weeks. My question is, when our puppy was given a clean bill of health and approved for travel, did their vet look in his ears? This degree of ear infection should not have been missed.

Simply put, puppyspot is not a place to get a good, healthy puppy, and work with people who care about and understand dogs. Last month I received a border collie from puppyspot, and she was in pretty rough shape. She was in the process of recovering from a hook worm infection and after bringing her to the Vet, I learned she had giardia. You won't get a lot of details about your puppy and the breeder from puppyspot. I learned after asking for an updated picture of my pup, that she was a short haired border collie. Never did the puppyspot sales woman who I worked with mention she was short haired. The website description never stated that either. I'm ok with this, but it's not what I was expecting. Puppyspot was either uninformed of what they were selling, or were just too focused on selling the pup instead of engaging a potential owner with all the details. My puppy is still on meds to rid herself of the parasite. The Vet I'm working with mentioned that this year she's seen a fair amount of puppies with giardia from the Mid West, Texas and Missouri. My pup came from Texas, and aside from her health issues, she's a sweet, loving puppy. But if I had to do this again, I would defiantly hold out on the long wait lists I was in or just keep searching for a border collie in rescues. If you decide to go with this service, be warned that when you call, you'll likely speak to a call center agent who is not a trained expert in puppies. Try calling a shelter first. You'll see a big difference. Every shelter I've dealt with in the past cares about and understands dogs. It's a 180 from what you'll get from puppyspot.

Poor communication. Reached out multiple times for help, but received no or slow response. Agreed to door to door service and paid for this service. Then last minute, gave me no option but to go pick up myself.

The sales process of purchasing the puppy was great. I spoke with a woman named Gina. It seemed legitimate and like they really took a lot of time and care in the way they operate. We got a beautiful Frenchie and couldn’t be more thrilled. HOWEVER. Dealing with this company is a NIGHTMARE. 1- my puppy arrived with bloody diarrhea and Giardia. The infection spread to my family though we don’t know how exactly. Possibly Kissing him. 2- We initially spoke about a particular travel date and they scheduled him for a different date. 3- I could not get anyone on the phone who knew anything meaningful. They use a call center in the Philippines to handle everything and while the people are lovely they are basically working off a script and have no real hands on knowledge of what’s happening. They are also the ones answering the same canned responses to all these reviews. 4- When our puppy was traveling I got no update for his arrival. I got an email saying he was being driven from the airport by one company and it turned out that it was a totally different company. I finally tracked that company down for an update. 5- Trying to follow up after his Giardia test it was impossible to get a supervisor in the US on the phone to discuss how exactly they sent me a puppy with a zoonotic parasite and not tell me. There is no way they didn’t know this dog had bloody diarrhea. NONE. 6- Praying that he is in fact healthy and doesn’t have any big issues as he grows Use EXTREME CAUTION with this company.

I wouldn't get another puppy through PuppySpot. The main reason why i'm provided 2 starts instead of 1 is because I did get my puppy. It was stressful working with PuppySpot up until that point of his arrival, when they no longer needed to be involved. There was certainly a lack of communication and last minute changes that made the entire experience stressful. I found that when I asked on the PuppySpot App about my puppy's arrival, a week or so prior, I would consistently get the response of "don't contact us, we'll contact you". Then, they told me (a few days within the window that he was supposed to arrive) that he got sick and it would need to push back the arrival date by 3 weeks. There was no other sooner date, apparently. They didn't update me on the puppy's condition as we got closer to the second arrival date. In order to get any answer, I needed to call and hope that I would speak to a helpful representative. I had updated my address with PuppySpot, but then they still sent my puppy toy package to my old address - which I needed to pay to receive at my new address. I tried to use the PuppySpot app to get reimbursed, with no response from their representatives. So, I had to call to get a resolution.
