I got my puppy from puppyspot. The no puppy mill guarantee sealed the deal. I got a sheepadoodle F1 standard. When we got her and she had Giardia. Got that treated. Loved her with my entire being. At 2 1/2 years she got sick. After thousands of dollars in hospital vets, ER visits, neurologist, etc. She was diagnosed with myasthenia gravis and megaesophagus. We went through hell for about 6 months of caring for my beautiful baby but she crossed the rainbow bridge. Those medical conditions are not common in a sheepadoodle. I really wonder how much they really look at the breeder and ensure they are reputable and not puppy mills? I will never ever risk buying from puppy spot again. Better to go to a reputable breeder where you can see the conditions. Puppyspot won't allow you to talk to the breeder. They are too worried about keeping their premium price for higher profits. It took me 1 year since her death to write this as I am still so heartbroken.

My puppy has elbow dysplasia. Under 3 years old. Lameness in front leg, pain and difficulty walking.

I just picked up my puppy yesterday and she is sick and at the hospital now.

I reached out to puppyspot . I spoke to Gina she was snarky and very non professional when I inquired about where the breeders come from . I instantly got a bad feeling from Gina with her rude comments and laughing . She became suspicious of me when I started asking her questions with regard to the breeders they use . Buyer beware !!!!

I recently purchased our first French bulldog puppy. When we met the delivery driver at a Walmart parking lot he had mucus spraying out of this nose and was shaking the van smelt strong odor which they tried to hide with some perfume spray on my pup. He came home night one with diarrhea and refused to eat the food that he came home with for days. I also ordered his same food from Great Lakes and it was a different color than what he had sent with him. His diarrhea has been pretty consistent since he came home only has had very few bowls that were normal. He’s been dewormed, tested for parasites and on medication since our first week together. He is on his second round of antibiotics due to lung inflammation, a cough, and bacteria found in one of his test. If he runs around with toys or play he starts coughing. I thought we would be getting a healthy puppy that my kids can play and grow up with, but so far, this has been endless vet appointments, stress and long nights no sleep.

Bait and switch scheme? I purchased and paid in full for a puppy and 2 days later PuppySpot called to tell me they sold my puppy already to someone else. Their attitude was 'so-sad-too-bad' and to make matters worse they did not even own the mistake and instead blamed it on the breeder. True or not true I was dealing with and paid my money to PuppySpot NOT the breeder. Then as if that all wasn't bad enough...they told me to hurry up and pick another puppy within 2 days or they would cancel the order and a refund would be generated that could take up to 10 business days. Yet on the day that I contacted PuppySpot to inquire about purchasing the puppy they demanded full-payment on the spot (now I know why it's called PuppySPOT) before they could reserve the puppy for me - which I paid-in-full on the spot. PuppySpot knows how to take the money and make the reservation but does not know how to honor the reservation. Not one person from PuppySpot bothered to show me one ounce of compassion for the trauma this caused and kept blaming it on the breeder. I wasn't doing business with the breeder, I was doing business with PuppySpot. Neither did anyone from PuppySpot offer to provide me a discount on the new puppy I selected. Any decent reputable company would strive to correct their mistakes and offer a gesture to the customer that represents their dedication to providing a high standard of customer service and satisfaction especially in their type of service connecting individuals and with a pet. I love my puppy and THAT I WILL GIVE CREDIT to the breeder and not PuppySpot. The lesson learned, the next time I will work directly with a breeder.

As an elite breeder that offers lifetime health warranties on my puppies, I highly would not recommend using Puppy Spot. I started the application to work with Puppy Spot recently. I completed all questions and they seemed like a wonderful company to pair with that actually cares about dogs, until the final oral questionnaire. First my deworming protocol was not deemed “unsuitable” even though my vet program has been set by two veterinarians from Cornell University. My puppies are not dewormed until week 6 or 7 and do not need deworming before that age as they always produce negative fecals. Puppy Spot representative tried to inform me regardless, I would need to start deworming my puppies at 2 weeks which has actually been found to be unnecessary and harms their gut health. Second, the travel options the puppy spot representative informed me one of the methods for travel would be flying the puppies cargo. I informed her I do not and cannot allow my puppies to fly cargo, it is 100% unsafe for them due to their size and nature of the breed. She informed me, transport is decided by the buyer, and if I won’t allow my puppies to fly cargo I would not be accepted in the program. I explained to her 2 and 3x how this was unacceptable and that the health of my dogs would be at risk. I also informed her I currently transport my puppies nationwide and I have safe means of transport for my puppies, but that was denied for use. Companies that actually care about the animals listen to good breeders and will never put a puppy in danger for a sale. I am very very disappointed with Puppy Spot.

Our puppy arrived with double ear infections, one scarred injury on his rump one injury to his face, suffered from diarrhea with blood in the stool, multiple dewormings and worse yet, malnurishment. Did Puppy Spot care ? Nope. Have spoken to Jenna in CS and she wouldn’t even acknowledge the conversation with an email stating they were looking into it . She refused! We sent the expensive doctor bill as requested by Jenna, no response ! How’s the puppy now ? He’s recovering, how are we ? Some $4k deep and luckily we love dogs. So beware of this puppy mill.
