Serviceable service
The good : 1) Not a scam company. I know this sounds dumb, but there's a few scam companies out there. I know my father fell for one a while back. So at the very least I can vouch for the fact that you will get the dog you ordered. 2) Did exactly what they said they would do in regards to us getting our dog. 3) Customer service people were lovely. Even if there were communication issues (see next part) The bad : 1) Automated texts or emails at like 2 in the morning. What the fu....?! Who designed this? Some of us can't have our phones off at night, and I don't appreciate a random message like congratulations on your new puppy. Yea thanks that's great, it could have waited till morning... 2) Communication issues. When on the phone with the customer service rep, (lovely chap btw) talking about the dog price, I asked if travel costs were included in the price. I was told yes. To me I assumed that meant the $2.5k for the dog meant that travel was included. Bill added extra 700ish for travel. Ok fair enough, miscommunication, no big deal. Then there are other misc expenses thrown in for good measure to jack up the price. Which seems kinda scammy, but okay if I'm shelling out a few thousand already, guess I don't really care about a few hundred more. I just wish they were more upfront about it, rather than trying to nickle and dime you after you decided you want the dog. Feels scammy like a dealership, trying to up sell you stuff. Just be honest, it's really not that hard. 3) Their 10 year guarantee. Which is basically just their way of selling you insurance, which goes back to point #2. But if you shop around you can find better deals. Again not a major issue other than just feels dishonest, more than anything else. 4) Last but not least. Travel to a different state to pick up the dog. Wasn't expecting this, but again okay. Also travel was only a 2 & 1/2 hour drive each way so not too bad. Though since date & time comes the week of, I can see certain people having issues getting that time off work to go pick up their dog. I guess it's their own issue but still kinda crappy to deal with. Overall as the title says serviceable service. Not great, not terrible, if you like a dog you see, and the price doesn't bother you go for it. If it does understand that it's going to be even more, so you might want to consider adopting from a shelter or going elsewhere.

Thank you for being a customer, for the positive feedback and for the not-so-great feedback. Our customer service bar is high, and we need honest feedback like yours to get better at meeting it consistently. All your concerns are legitimate, and you are right, they boil down to miscommunication or bad communication on the team’s part. We aim for absolute transparency in every step of the perfect puppy adoption journey and clearly we failed here. You should not have gotten emails in the middle of the night and the rep should have clearly explained that travel was separate. The costs are separate because there a range of ways we can deliver a puppy, and some places are a bit challenging to get to, which is why we sometimes ask customers to “meet us halfway”. On the 10-year health commitment our concern is that the puppy be insured, for the puppy’s benefit. Please know that our mission is to help people find the perfect puppy and the unconditional love that comes with it. And that we are here to answer questions, provide support and do whatever we can so that you and your puppy are happy. Thank you again for caring enough to share both your positive and constructive feedback. We will get better.
