We are breeders and sold a few puppies through puppy spot. We never once had puppy spot out to our kennel to inspect it. They had us place the items where needed for us to take pictures and called it good. The health genetics of a Doberman dcm and vwd are not a concern for them as they do not require health testing nor hips or elbows of the parents. For the price you pay you should be aware of what puppies ur really getting . We no longer sell our puppies through them!

I originally wrote a 5 star review for this company. I love my puppy I received back in Aug 2024. I just can’t keep quiet about they made the decision to neuter my puppy after I had already purchased it. Their terms and conditions state, “as is”. I should have been consulted, no matter the reason. It was my puppy! I would have done it at some point, but they told me to be grateful that they took upon theirselves.I am not! I do not believe in neutering at 14weeks old. It was not an emergency! They offered me $150. What an insult!

They don’t even deserve one star. They sent me a dog with three health conditions. One of the conditions was an umbilical hernia. The puppy had a huge ball in his stomach. They did not disclose this to me before sending me the dog. They portrayed the puppy on the phone as healthy. We did not find out about his medical conditions until we received him with transport. Three medical conditions were checked on the “health report” the puppy spot health report said that if a dog has health conditions they need to disclose it to the customer and send photos. They did not disclose his conditions to me before sending the puppy and they did not send photos prior to his arrival. When we asked to return the puppy they refused and said we could surrender him with no refund. After days of calling puppyspot and talking to endless supervisors they finally agreed to return there sick puppy back and we have them on recording acknowledging they had the pictures of the puppies health issues but they said they felt they didn’t need to disclose to us. They gave us a sick dog and we were able to return him and now we are out $1,000. We paid them $3,200 for a puppy and they only refunded us $2,200 back. They are all about the money they don’t care about the health of the puppies they are selling they are just about the quick buck. The breeder of the puppy was Ernest Yoder and he is a puppy mill breeder with health violations of rat droppings in his facility and other usda health violations that can be found online. The Ernest Yoder breeder has 108 breeding dogs and 116 puppies. They work with puppy mill breeders with health violations and they sell sick dogs. This company is an absolute fraud and they are scammers who will fraudulently sell puppies as healthy and trick you. Do not buy from them unless you want dogs with genetic issues and health problems.

I had high hopes when I started the process of adopting a puppy from Puppy Spot. Prior to making the payment on November 19, 2024, I received numerous calls, sometimes even as late as 8 PM, urging me to complete the adoption process. However, once the payment was made, the level of service dropped dramatically. The first puppy I chose was already sold, but the site wasn't updated for several days. When I finally selected another puppy, things seemed to be back on track, but the following day, I was locked out of my account. Despite several emails to their help account, I received no assistance. I've tried calling multiple phone numbers, but they rarely answer, and when they do, I'm placed on hold for an extended period only to be told they're still working on scheduling a date for us to receive our puppy. It's been nearly two weeks with no updates on the vet check-up, and the promised videos have never arrived. While some people might have had better experiences, for me, this has been a lesson learned to take my business elsewhere.

November 27, puppy spot has read my review and they refuse to post it because it is extremely negative. This is the kind of company that you are dealing with. First of all, when we went to collect our puppy, the transport van would not let us see the back of the van where her living environment had been for the last four days. When we got her home, her urine smelled like fish and she said had horrible diarrhea. We made an appointment with our veterinarian for the first possible date that she had open and our puppy came to us with a severe case of Giardia and a UTI. We received her on the afternoon of October 3. This is now November 25. She is still plagued with Giardia and a UTI , has had testing, medications, retesting, more medication’s, more retesting, more medication’s, and she is currently still on medication’s and will have to have retesting again. Puppy spot sent us a very sick dog, whom we loved dearly and are doing everything we can to help her , but they will not absolutely not step up to the plate with their guarantee. Very sad that we’ve had to spend so far, $1200 in testing and medication’s for this dog and we are not done yet. Puppy spot, intelligent, stupid, unbending, unsensitive, and just really get the dog again get the dog out and we wash our hands of this. And their veterinarian who checks out the dogs is in fact an employee of puppy spot, which is a huge conflict of interest. I would be very, very, very careful if I were you . I would not recommend this website or their guarantee or their puppies at all. Thank you for listening and your time.

This red review is in regard to Puppy Spot. We took our recently received cocker spaniel to our veterinary yesterday and he has a heart murmur and pneumonia. He’s currently being medicated for the pneumonia. I have never seen a dog as skittish and afraid of everything, load noises, people, etc. Either he has been abused or kept in a kennel his entire life. The breeder is Darly Lehman. Very disappointed! It’s really sad to see a puppy as afraid of everything as Harry.

Changed the price on me after I purchased my pup. Did not respond to emails in a timely fashion and no one answered their help line on the weekend during hours that their website stated they were open. Frustrating experience to say the least.

We are experienced dog owners, so this is NOT AN ADJUSTMENT ISSUE. “Indi” arrived so filthy. We bathed her, layers of mud, clay, poop…you name it. Not just travel dirt. I took her to my groomer, she said “Indi” obviously had never been crated and exhibited aggression towards other animals. She VIOLENTLY attacks other dogs for no reason and barks for no reason. She is 5 months old and obviously has a back story. I have requested her history several times and gotten NO ANSWERS! I need to know her back story in order to make her training and adjustment less exhausting. I have called several times and just get another sales person.
