Stay away from this comapny. They took 3000 dollars from me when I could not pick up my puppy when I was sick. This company has fake reviews. I am going to complain to BBB for taking my money away without delivering the puppy

Does not even deserve one star. I’ve been fighting them for 2 years to honor the health guarantee and I’ve about given up. We bought our French bulldog in the beginning of January 2022. We made an initial inquiry and was then harassed for 2 days to complete the purchase. After paying for our puppy the communication was non-existent. Travel date changed twice and we finally received her on February 27, 2022. Unfortunately, we had just been in a major car accident suffering multiple injuries. I called Puppy Spot to tell them this and that the soonest vet appointment for a well check was 1 day over the two-week allowed timeframe. Puppy spot assured me that was okay and they would still cover under the health guarantee should anything be wrong and wished us a speedy recovery. They blatantly lied. I received a very sick puppy: yeast ear infections, skin and tail folds infections, Garadia, an intestinal parasite that I had to pay a $250 GI panel for to find out what was wrong with her. She has not been healthy for one day since we got her with constant skin infections and ear infections. Then in late 2023 she started having seizures out of the blue. She is now on 3 seizure medications that have to be given throughout the day 3x. She requires so much attention medically and I get stressed any time I have to be out for an extend time frame. I’ve had to had have my parents go over to give meds when I’ve gotten stuck in traffic. Sometimes I’ve even had to call my neighbors to do it when my parents weren’t available. She has to get bathed weekly with prescription shampoo to stop the skin infections that she still has problems with. Steroid stray for her skin allergies and so much more. Puppy spot has flat out refused to honor the health guarantee or reimburse me any portion of the thousands in vet bills I have paid. They have refused to return calls or emails. I have provided all the vet bills and everything they’ve asked for but they want me to get an MRI to prove it’s seizures when she’s on seizure meds and the vet has said it’s seizures and I’ve provided the vet documentation. An mri cost $3,000-4,000 and a 2 hour one-way trip to the vet hospital to get it. They will do anything to not honor the health guarantee. They claim their breeders are vetted and held to very high standards, don’t believe them. My Frenchie was supposed to be a purebred and she is anything but purebred with a multitude of health problems to the point we are now have to consider putting her down because of them. She has no real quality of life and I’m absolutely devastated. I will never use puppy Spot again nor will I ever recommend them. The stray I fostered & adopted off the street is healthier then my “purebred French Bulldog.” It’s sickening how this company lies to people and even steals from them by giving us sick, poorly bred dogs and then refusing to hold up their end of the contract with the health guarantee. If I don’t get contacted by PuppySpot before the end of the year 2024 I’ll be seeing them in court because I’ve had it!!

Stay away from this puppy mill, do your research on all the complaints about them. my pup was born with an abnormally small liver that almost cost him his life, after 3 days in ICU and over $7k in medical bills, he will have health issues the rest of his life.

I am echoing the last reviewer's response. Based on their comments I would guess we are getting puppies from the same breeder (Joe in Indiana). Lots of communication until you pay then complete radio silence except for generic emails pushing you to buy affiliate products through puppyspot but absolutely nothing regarding the puppy's condition or any updated photos/video for over 3 weeks. A lot can change with a puppy between weeks 9-12!! I was hesitant to go with this company but believed their promise of holding breeders to high standards and guaranteeing no puppy mills. This experience has showed me they don't seem to require anything of their breeders. Literally everyday for the last 2 weeks I called/emailed requesting updates and everyday they said they reached out to the breeder. Somehow they must have communicated with Joe to make the travel arrangements so why would you not tell him that if he can't update us on the puppy he'll get kicked off your breeder list? This is just very disappointing and scary that you have a breeder who really doesn't care at all. I will tell spreading the word everywhere I can not go with this factory. You are better off finding a breeder who cares and will actually keep you informed on your puppy's condition. Also, just as with the last reviewer I was told my puppy would transported with the professional transportation team which actually has good reviews. Instead they are driving her 3.5 hours to Chicago and then putting her on a plane to Boston so this will be a horribly long and traumatizing journey for her where she will surely soil her crate! They said she's already left her breeders home and I am not getting her until tomorrow so who is taking care of her today???? I sincerely hope she arrives in good condition. I will update this review once I receive her but so far I am beyond disappointed and highly recommend to anyone considering this company - DO NOT DO IT!!!

I purchased a puppy from PuppySpot and deeply regret it. The puppy we received was 5 months old, and within 48 hours of bringing him home, we took him to the vet. He was diagnosed with an ear infection, required a fecal test, and was extremely fearful. The vet immediately suspected he had symptoms consistent with a puppy mill. I reached out to PuppySpot about the food listed for him before I received him, which stated he was still on puppy mousse at 5 months old, something that seemed unusual to me. PuppySpot confirmed they contacted the breeder, but when the puppy was delivered, he was on an entirely different food. It came in a sandwich bag with no information about the brand or how long he had been on it. Now, nearly a month later, I'm exploring animal therapy for him. He was not socialized to humans as PuppySpot had claimed. He hides under the bed, stays in his crate, and refuses to willingly leave the house to go outside. He will not play with us or cuddle. I have to physically carry him to go to the bathroom. He won’t walk around the community or park. My children are very disappointed because they assumed that he would a dog that they could connect with and build a bond with. I absolutely regret using Puppyspot and purchasing from this breeder. You pay thousands for a dog and now have to pay even more for therapy.

Our puppy died after 6 days we got him. PuppySpot put our puppy on the crate with full of shredded paper that we suspected that he ate those papers that make him sick. After 2 days we got our 8 weeks old puppy maltipoo he was not eating and started throwing up thats why we bring him to emergency vet and they took a parvo test but he was negative and the Doctor told us that they run an ultrasound to his belly or stomach but it wasn’t clear . They give him an IV and injected with medicine for nausea and told us to observe him for 24 hrs if he doesn’t get better or he start throwing up we need to bring him back and we bring him back and they said that probably he eats something that mske him sick or his stomach sick unfortunately he passed away on Nov. 30, 2024. I wish Puppy Spot or there breeder don’t use a shredded paper when they sent the puppy. Instead use a blanket.

I purchased a puppy from PuppySpot and prior to making the purchase they had a quick response by telephone. They were very helpful and cooperative. Once I made the purchase all that changed. For three weeks I found it impossible to be connected to someone and when I was able to get someone on the phone they gave me the run around with no help at all. After an agonizing three weeks waiting to establish transportation (first it was flight information then ground with two different confirmation dates and times) I saw nothing on their website about my puppy!!! No call from them at all and I couldn't get them to even answer the phone! Irate I finally got someone who was forced to admit my transaction was cancelled and they wanted me to.choose another puppy!!! I said no. We wanted the one we selected. Evidently they didn't want me to know there was a medical issue with the puppy and left me hanging up to four days before the alleged delivery which was confirmed by two different transportation modes! So they refunded me and no apology or nothing. We were devastated and worried about the puppy. Long story short we found a breeder in our area who is bringing us a same breed puppy to our home, AKC registered and healthy. For a lot less money too. We didn't suffer any loss other than our emotional rollercoaster and frustration with PuppySpot. I want people to do their due diligence and decide if you feel comfortable dealing with the unknown. The fact that the puppy wasn't healthy should have been discovered before the age of 6 mos. They were irresponsible. I had bonded with that puppy long distance and worried about the air transportation then being driven halfway across the country. That was cruel and unnecessary to me because if they only answered their phone I would not have been so worried. It's been a long few weeks which leaves a bad taste in my mouth for PuppySpot as a business. All PuppySpot answers to negative reviews are the same response from them. I received a phone call after leaving this review and the representative apologized assuring me that this type of mistake is uncommon.

I just wanted to take time to give my personal review of puppyspot. We have really enjoyed our new goldendoodle since we welcomed her into our home about one month ago. Puppyspot had done a great job in regards to helping out in helping us find a dog and quickly answering the phone. We started to run into problems a few days after getting the dog home. On day 3 our puppy began to limp. We brought the dog to the vet and was told to rest and give it a couple of weeks. After a couple of weeks the dog continued to limp and was diagnosed with congenital knee problems that would require surgery. I have emailed puppy spot as well as tried to call in regards to this health issue but am still waiting to get a call back or an email back from the health department in regards to this issue. In my opinion it seems that puppyspot is interested in selling you a dog but does not follow through on any of the health check guarantees. I would stay away from this company
