Our puppy was shipped despite severe winter storm forecasts predicted to cause severe delay in delivery. Our puppy spent 10 days traveling to several different locations. PuppySpot decided not to own the problem and had a total breakdown in communication between its staff. The puppy finally arrived via Iowa, Dallas, Chicago, Charlotte. It was in a pitiful state, the crate was full of pee, food and water full of newspaper shreds, puppy was cold,wet shaking. This was the second and last puppy we would buy from PuppySpot.

When involved in a transaction that is valued in the thousands, is it asking too much to be able to talk to the breeder more than 24 hours before the meeting to pick up the new puppy? I would never recommend Puppy Spot to a friend.

I got the puppy Dec. 16th Friday, Sat. & Sunday he cough a lot Mon. less but because the Holidays Vets were vary busy The Emergency told us to wait 4 hours. Finaly that they did not know if it was viral or not we got some antibiotics but still is coughing, they did some stool test and found parasites we are going to give him something for that. I hope the cough goes away soon. Leticia Montgomery

While the person who helped me purchase my dog was knowledgeable about dogs, the rest of the process was difficult through PuppySpot. There was a glitch on the payment transaction page and I couldn’t pay that way which resulted in a 3 hour long process just to pay. Very poor communication once I purchased my dog. I did not hear from anyone at PS for almost 14 days in regard to the transaction and puppy travel plans despite the fact that my puppy was old enough to come home. There was so little communication that I wondered if PS was a scam and wasn’t sure if the 6000.00+ transaction would result in actually getting a dog. When I used the app to attempt to get support, I had to wait long times for a response and the customer service was poor. The only response I’d get was that the app would update when info was available. I would not recommend PS nor would I use it again.

I wasn’t able to filter the area for a puppy so she came from Indiana (we’re in Texas) and the transport personell was surprised at how big she was when they got her out from the back of the truck which tells me they never let her out on a 18 hour drive… also not sharing any information on the breeder before you purchase is a little fishy to me. It’s not like they’re cheaper than getting a puppy directly from a breeder. Overall left me with a bad feeling unfortunately.

I was told my Sheltie was sable and white. She has more black on her than anything. I was also told her parents were both 14-18 lbs. My puppy is 8 mo. old and she already weighs 23 lbs. I have never had a puppy who is this hard to potty train and this is my 6th Sheltie. I swear she came from a puppy mill and still over $4000.00!!

The breeder I got him from said to call her anytime, day or night. She never answers her phone, never replies to text, and never replies to emails. It's disgusting!!!!

I bought a dog from Puppy Spot for $5,000 last Spring, which is not normally the amount of money I would spend however I wanted him as a small therapy dog for our family, who had experienced a death and also to be used as a small dog to visit seniors. When our pup arrived, he was healthy and adorable. As he grew, however, he attained a weight of 19 lbs when we had expected a 9-10 lb dog. He also did not look like dogs of his breed at all. I reported this to Puppy Spot, just looking for some acknowledgement or perhaps coupons for free pet supplies as a concession for having not received what we expected, however Puppy Spot did not offer anything of this kind. They reviewed my notes, but did not apologize or try to make it up to me in any way. I have bought two dogs from Puppy Spot now. The first puppy was bought in 2015, and she is my angel. No complaints there.
