Don’t get your puppy from Puppy Spot!
We got RIPPED OFF …..
Everything went smoothly with puppy but I would never recommend Puppy Spot. They charge 3 times the amount than the American Kennel Club breeders that are local in state. wish I had known prior to contacting Puppy Spot. Shame on me. Could’ve saved $3000 .. embarrassed as I type this but need everyone else to know!

Terrible communication
Terrible communication. They had no problem getting a hold of us the second we wanted to buy a dog. We received our animal smelling like poop had not been groomed or had a brush through her in a long time . Now we can’t get ahold of them or for them to make it right . Not what you would expect for $4000

Scam do not buy
Scam do not buy. I paid 3k to their account and they said I must pay another 14k for the cage

We are so sorry to hear about your experience, but it sounds like you may have fallen victim to a scam. PuppySpot would never ask customers to pay such an exorbitant amount for a crate or any other item. Our team follows a transparent process, and all costs are clearly outlined upfront during the purchase process.
Please know that our company takes these matters seriously, and we encourage you to reach out directly to verify any transactions or communications. Additionally, we recommend reporting this incident to your local authorities and your bank to investigate further.
If you believe you’ve been in contact with someone falsely representing PuppySpot, please let us know so we can assist. We’re here to help however we can.

I'm a breeder and originally inquired…
I'm a breeder and originally inquired to list my litters on Puppy Spot and found out that I was unable to since I hadn't had 3 litters yet. That's fine, I'm on Good Dog and absolutely love it. In the meantime I began a search for a Mini Schnoodle to "possibly" add to my program in the far future. I was getting the pup for my daughter and wanted the option to breed later. I received a text and a call from a woman named Candace. At Puppy Spot you DO NOT communicate with the Breeder. I don't like that and I'm glad that I encountered this side of it because I interview my own buyers, I don't go through a 3rd party!! I have my own interview process and all of my health checks are readily available on my personal website AND on Good Dog. I communicate directly with the buyer. Not at Puppy Spot. When she found out that I was a breeder her whole tone changed, as if I'm this nasty backyard breeder, which I'm extremely far from. They don't sell to breeders whatsoever... but they'll speak for breeders and create their own rules. It's fine. It's just not what I do. I would use caution purchasing a puppy through this organization. There should ALWAYS be an open communication between the breeder and the buyer from the very beginning, not some concierge. If the breeder isn't willing to communicate with the buyer, heed caution. I keep in touch with ALL of my buyers on a regular basis. I actually called her back to delete my account as this actually is not a good fit for me either on all levels, as a buyer or a breeder on their platform, and she clearly stated "oh don't worry I already put a do not sell on your account." I thought that was rude.
UPDATE: I received a phone call from Puppy Spot to apologize for the unprofessional behavior I received from Candace, and to just simply reach out. I believe that what Puppy Spot does to be sure puppies get into a good home is a good business model, but I still think it's important that the breeder and the buyer build that open communication and that relationship from the very beginning. Puppy Spot may be the perfect fit for you or it may not be, and that's ok. What's important is the puppies!

Sick puppy from puppyspot
I am glad some of the people that have posted reviews seem to be happy and received a healthy puppy. That has not been the case for us. We ordered our puppy as a Christmas present for our children on Nov. 30th. He was old enough to be shipped until Dec. 28th! He was sent via premier pet transport on Dec. 31 and we received him from the courier on Jan. 2. In addition to be scared and shaking which is somewhat understandable it was concerning that the driver did not know what our puppy even looked like until he handed him to us after taking him out of the sprinter van. I don’t know how that is possible after a 2 day drive. My puppy arrived sick. He had bad diarrhea, runny nose and eyes and was coughing. Thinking maybe it was from stress of transport we gave it a couple days and when no improvement we contacted the vet. I called support at puppyspot and explained to them I had received a sick puppy and they said they could do nothing until I got the vet report. I took my puppy in the next day and he was diagnosed with kennel cough that had morphed into a secondary infection causing his nose and eyes to run. It was just clear runny nose it was yellow snot. He was given an antibiotic and other over the counter recommendations. I submitted everything ro puppyspot and asked for reimbursement for charges incurred as a result and in addition for all the over the counter and cleaning supplies, new bed, etc. that we had to purchase due to his illness. I have had no responses or contact from them since submitting my paperwork for my claim. I contacted the BBB and made a complaint and still no contact. My puppy arrived in a van transporting several other puppies so it is a high probability that they all contracted kennel cough also. I just want my due compensation. I paid almost 4000 for a puppy partly because of the health guarantee and for it not to be honored is pretty shitty. I hope people will think twice before choosing puppyspot for their puppies:

We understand your frustration and disappointment with your puppy's arrival and subsequent illness. It sounds incredibly stressful to receive a sick puppy, especially after the anticipation of a Christmas gift for your children. The delay in receiving your puppy and the courier's apparent lack of awareness about your pet are also concerning, and we sincerely apologize for the added worry this caused.
We're sorry to hear about the additional expenses you incurred due to your puppy's illness, including veterinary bills and the cost of supplies. We also regret the lack of communication you've experienced since submitting your claim. We value your business and are committed to addressing your concerns, and we appreciate you bringing this matter to our attention. We are reviewing your case and will be in touch soon.

Horrific experience/sick puppy
Horrific experience! We were told our puppy would be delivered to the city that we live in but instead we had to travel eight hours round trip to get her. She was also delayed for weeks due to having giardia. They claimed she was "cured" but when I took her to the vet she is still testing positive for it so we are still dealing with that and the cost of it. We also found live worms/parasites in her stool, these also should have been taken care of before we got the puppy and we are dealing with the that and the cost of it. In addition, I paid extra to have Puppy Spot register the puppy with the AKC and when I called to ask about it months later it still was not done and I was told that I had to call the AKC - that is why I paid extra, so that I didn't have to call the AKC! This place is a joke and a rip off. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE and we got a SICK PUPPY.

Bad company , horrible customer service
This poor little guy came to us afraid and scared of human touch . After one month of positive reinforcement and training we continue to not be able to put a leash on him pet him or get anywhere near him . On top of this we have vet bills that continue to be unreimbursed which is supposedly covered by their 14 day parasite policy and like many others on this review site have been told they need to speak to a specific person named Rachel who is never around and does not return calls . Their internal notes and communication system is also sub par. My husband bought this dog for me /us but for me personally after having to say goodbye to our sweet Sadie . They still have not updated my name as the owner and primary contact person even though he has told them on the phone that I am primary contact . I have submitted records for reimbursement that are more than likely buried from all the emails they continue to send us that we need to contact them so they may review misters case . They also had the audacity to ask me how he may have got giardia which if they looked at the pdf of records I sent he didn’t have giardia it was hookworms . Seeing as how he won’t after a month of decompression and positive reinforcement he will not let us leash him and walk him outside . He uses a portly pad and much money has been used in that also . understand dogs may test positive for these but follow your policy and give us the money we deserve and actually take time to read the email . We will continue to support care and love mister . I have a feeling it will be a very long time before trust is established . Who knows . He is ours now to love and would never give up and never will . There is zero percent chance I/ we will ever use this company again . I have raised and trained 3 Australian Shepards one rescued after being rehomed 3 times before us and she was in comparison to him miles and miles ahead at this point . I will assume that he was never socialized cared for emotionally at all and only taken out of his crate to get shots and to be forced to do things .

Fraudulent/lies about breed + appears to work with puppy mills
This company engages in outright fraud and seems to operate as a go-between for puppy mills, in stark contrast to their repeated online advertising as a site that ensures breeders are legit, and that they guarantee breeder authenticity and vetting.
We paid almost $3,000 for an F1b Bernedoodle. We were sent pictures from PuppySpot of her "parents." As she grew, we realized that our vet was 100% correct when she told us that the puppy is definitely not a Bernedoodle, which was also obvious based on how she looks now that she's a bit older. Per the DNA tests - that we paid for after 4 months of raising her - it turns out that she is a Schnauzer/Poodle mix.
She also came to us with ear mites, fleas, and intestinal worms, despite being given a document allegedly from the day before we got her that explicitly claimed she was cleared of all of those. She's also had a ton of anxiety and is terrified of most people and being in any crate/kennel. We've paid thousands of dollars for training to try to help her better adjust, and hundreds in vet bills to ensure her health problems are taken care of.
We tried for weeks to address with Puppy Spot customer service, but they kept not answering, or saying we need to talk to a specific person who isn't ever there, and/or that we'll be called back (then aren't). We finally got someone to talk to us about the claim; they said they'd give us $177 back, which is ridiculous given that we paid thousands of dollars for a puppy that they and/or their breeder lied to us about multiple times. We would never have even purchased a "designer dog" off a site if it wasn't a bernedoodle (like the ones others in my family have).
Much more importantly, they don't seem concerned with answering or accounting for whatever happened with the breeder and our pup before she came to us.
We would not have dealt with this site if we'd known that she came from somewhere that potentially abused her (and/or - at the very least - lied about her breed and her health). I'm appalled this site is allowed to operate. It should be investigated, and we're going to file complaints to that end. If anyone has had similar issues, please respond to this so we can consolidate claims.
For prospective buyers: if you care about dogs and their welfare, I strongly urge you to avoid this site.
