I originally liked the experience …
I originally liked the experience very much, until they through there premire transport service delivered me the wrong dog. I got a phone call a day and half later from Heather from puppy spot that they they gave me the wrong dog. Bottom line how heartbreaking it was for me to exchange this beautiful puppy who already stole my heart. My Dog Freddy now is the light of my life. This should never have happened ever. I can only imagine how the other puppy parents felt. I was related a small Transfer charge which was in my opinion little compensation for the sadness myself and the other puppy parents went through. I originally thought I was dealing with a very reputable organization. I now have my doubts. Thank you.

My Puppy came to me smelling dirty
My Puppy came to me smelling dirty. I feel like I was misinformed about how the puppy would come to his new family. I feel the reviews weren’t accurate or some of the breeders just didn’t care.

Incongruous
Wonderful puppy &…
Excellent first contact who assisted with purchase
BUT subsequently, confusion about:
• need for puppy insurance thru Fetch relative to warranty
•precise schedule for remaining immunizations, etc.
•owner first name entered incorrectly and not corrected
in summary, several divisions that appear to lack continuity and cohesiveness

Do your research
Firstly, I appreciate the effort your team put into connecting me with my Maltipoo puppy. The initial communication was prompt, and I was excited about bringing home our new furry family member. However, there were a few aspects of the process that left me less than satisfied.
1. Communication and Travel Details:
While the initial communication was smooth, I found that the follow-up regarding travel details was lacking. There was a three day lapse in communication when it came to making arrangements to pick the puppy up. This was a 2.5 hour drive from our home and we had to prepare for that. It wasn’t after four emails and one phone call on my end where I finally received the information for pickup. And that happened literally the day before the pick up date. It's essential for pet parents to feel informed and reassured during this process.
3. Undisclosed health issue:
This was actually brought to our attention when we picked the puppy up from the breeder. The breeder told us that he had an undescended testicle. Which was news to us because Puppy spot never disclosed that to us.
2. Early Separation from Mother:
I noticed some concerning mannerisms in our puppy. It seems that the puppy may have been separated from its mother too soon. As a Maltipoo owner, I expected the puppy to be a bit further ahead in terms of potty training. Unfortunately, this hasn't been the case, which has been challenging for us.
3. Separation Anxiety and Crate Training:
Our puppy exhibits severe separation anxiety. It refuses to go into its crate or tent to sleep, even during the day. Additionally, it won't engage in any activities independently. While I understand that puppies require attention, this behavior seems excessive. I wonder if there's anything we can do to ease its anxiety.
4. Cost and Documentation:
Lastly, the cost of the puppy was quite high. While I understand that quality comes at a cost. Additionally, we've had our puppy for over a week now, and we still haven't received any documentation from PuppySpot. This lack of paperwork is concerning.
In summary, while I appreciate the effort to connect us with our beloved puppy, there are areas for improvement. Clearer communication, addressing separation anxiety, and providing timely documentation would enhance the overall experience for future pet parents.
Best regards,

Information Erroneous-Update
Update: 8/1/24
I received a call from Puppyspot this morning in regards to my review. While I went on the information on the website, I did not see all the travel options or costs. Also, unfortunately Puppyspot uses American Airlines exclusively and there were no other options for delivery. I do think the website needs some review, customer service is excellent.
While purchasing my puppy was easy, there are things stated that just aren’t true. All the info about delivery is untrue as to the puppy coming with a chaperone in the cabin. My little Pomapoo went from SD to Chicago and then to Portland, OR, in the cargo hold by himself. He was terrified by the time I got him. Also, the information led me to believe that he would come to the nearest airport, which is 1/2 mile from my home. Instead, he was sent to Portland, which is a 5 hour drive. So, after the all-day plane rides, he still had a 5-hour drive to get home.
Response from PuppySpotAug 1, 2024
We understand your disappointment with the delivery process. We strive to provide accurate information and ensure a smooth experience for all our customers. We're sorry to hear that the delivery details you received were not accurate and that your puppy's journey was more stressful than anticipated. We value your feedback and will use it to improve our communication and delivery procedures.

$4200 FOR A DOG THAT WILL NEED SURGERY
I picked my puppy and the communication I believed was going well. They told me the delivery date. They emailed me every few days to update the delivery details. I pick up the puppy and all was good delivery service was seamless and easy. Half way home we noticed the puppy has a lump on its stomach. I call Puppy spot and they say its a umbilical hernia and is "very common" that it will have to be addressed by my vet when its time to spay her. I just spent over $4200.00 including transport. The dog has to have surgery to correct a "common" problem. They never communicated this issue to me. It was noted on the medical exam paperwork they gave me on the dog when picking her up, so they clearly knew about this issue.
